First off, did you really want my answer, or are you just being a smartass? Cuz I took your question seriously. Second, I didn't say "without using ANY inputs." If you read again more carefully, you will see that I said "without using any saving inputs." Inputs such as risers and toggles in a fashion which enhances your performance are not "saving" inputs. Inputs in a fashion where you are correcting a mistake or trying to just plain save your ass are what I am referring to. If you are not "in the corner", the inputs you use are enhancing inputs. If you ARE "in the corner" then the inputs become "saving" inputs. -

Being "in the corner" is the point where your canopy does not have sufficient altitude to recover from it's dive without you reacting with "saving" inputs. (digging out) Being in the corner results from initiating or holding a turn/dive too low, thus resulting in less than perfect recovery for a good swoop or even a safe landing. If you are just a little too low, or "just in the corner," and you recognize it early enough, you can recover fairly easily by using the inputs available. The "deeper in the corner" you get yourself, the more drastic the inputs will need to be. If you get "too deep in the corner" you will not be able to recover the canopy sufficiently in the altitude available, resulting in a serious injury or even death. -

I actually DO dring a good amount of water. I drink water with lunck and with dinner and when I workout and run. but I don't drink much more than maybe 60 ounces a day. 5 years?? That's all I get?? Guess I better get partyin!

I have a couple friends like this. They love to tell me what I should and should not be eating and they are on all these different diets. They are definitely experts when itcomes to health and dieting. Funny thing is, they are overweight.

I agree. My point was more directed to the people who say you HAVE to dring tons of water and say that doing so makes you healthier. Your body needs a certain amount of water to survive, but that amount is very small. Slightly more than that can have some good effects on your health. But there is just no scientific evidence or study that shows drinking alot of water has any more healthy effects. If you like to drink alot of water because it makes you feel good, then have at it, I am certainly not going to argue with that. But if you tell me you are healthier because of it, then I will say you are wrong. There are studies that back that.

I feel better when I drink more coffee. And there are lots of people who feel better when they drink more alcohol. Feeling "better" doesn't prove it is more healthy or act as any kind of evidence.

You definitely have to get a big stupid looking wing for the back of your car and a muffler that makes your car sound like shit. Apparently you can make any car, yes ANY, cool by just adding a dumb looking wing, shitty sounding muffler, and an obnoxiously loud stereo. Drive around with your seat leaned way back, with your retro babseball hat and jersey on and you are da bomb!

That's great dude! I often pull up next to "those types" and recline my seat WAY back too. I get some nastly looks for that. I really don't understand the bass pumping thing or the reclining your seat way back thing.

Well, your personal trainer didn't do much better at Xkeys! You will get used to the amount of water you need to drink and it won't be such an effort. On top of the minimum, you also should consume 8 ounces of water per 20 minutes of exercise. But that is easy, cuz if you suck down onw Gatorade or something, you are pretty much covered.

People are so over-concerned with drinking water. Yes, it is important, yes, you need it, but you don't have to be constantly drinking water. Liz, at your weight, you should only need like 70 ounces a day. That really isn't that much and is pretty easy to do. Drink a pints sized glass about 3 times a day, that's it. Plus, if you drink other juices and things, the water in that counts too. Your body will only use so much water. If you are drinking tons of it and toting a water bottle around all day, you are wasting your time and energy.
