  1. Will you hold me for a bit when I get there? I might need some time to gather myself.
  2. And you would think that the guy who is marrying her would pick up on that too.
  3. My wedding day was one of the best days of my life, and I think it was because I was so involved. We took what she wanted, what I wanted, and what we thought our quests would want to make a beautiful and enjoyably time for everyone. I had such a blast at my wedding and truly felt as if it was MY day too. It was a celebration and I was happy to be part of the planning. I couldn't disagree more with "it is her day." It was OUR day and OUR day to celebrate with friends and family. I think if guys took more time to be involved and excited about the day when you are publicly commiting your life to the girl of your dreams and sharing that day with your closest friends and family, there would be much less of the attitude that it is HER day and they don't care what happens.
  4. I think it is pretty normal. Personally, I was really excited about the whole event and wanted to be involved. I think I helped a good deal, but my now wife still did the majority of the work. Girls think about that day from the time they are very little and think of all the details, so I think it comes kinda naturally. Guys spend little or no time thinking about that day. But that deosn't mean he can't help and run around getting things done too.
  5. I am TRYING hard to stay relaxed, but this thread is doing alot more harm than good. My palms are sweating!
  6. You got it! Your wish is my command for a day. But only because you graduated with honors!
  7. Ok, I am really scared now! Thanks to those last 3 posts! Is it too late to back out?
  8. Ya know, if you girls would come to the northeast just ONCE!
  9. Ok, I now know what they look like, thank you, but does anyone have the brand name or her favorite flavors? I don't want to screw this up!
  10. Here's some hot nipple action for the ladies.
  11. I am actually getting more nervous now! This is alot to think about! I kinda like the "pretend you are someone else at first" idea. Thanks for doing my rig, Sid! See ya tomorrow for Social Distortion! Ro- I am all for the "let hr grab your ass" suggestion, and I think I can use that as a nice distraction. But seriously, what are twirly cookies??
  12. Hug. Check. Smile. Check. Smirnoff Ice. Check. Twirly cookies. What the heck is a twirly cookie?
  13. I will be going to Skydive Chicago next week (May 20-22) and that means I will finally meet sunshine. Don't get me wrong, I am really excited, but it IS sunshine! It's a little like meeting a rockstar. What if I don't meet her expectations? What if I get all nervous and don't know what to say? I just don't want to mess it up. Any advice from those who HAVE met her?
  14. I'm with you on that! I would take Missy, Amy or Kate, all three, or any combination of such! Sugar Glider(z) would be the freefly team. Sugar Glider(s) would be the pet. But I have a feeling this was a trick just to get us to open the thread! Unless of course one of the girls wants to be adopted!
  15. It basically comes down to smoking infringing on others rights to breathe clean air. If someone is drinking alcohol next to me, it doesn't impact my health. If someone eats a banana next to me it doesn't impact my health. If someone's driking starts to impact others, that is where the laws are in place. I smoke cigars from time to time and there are almost no bars that will allow me to smoke them. Why? because people find them offensive. Is it my right to smoke them? Yes. Is it my right to force people to deal with it just because it's my right? No. But in these same bars that don't allow cigars, they do allow cigarettes. Is that right? No. But cigarettes have been accepted by society as something we have to put up with even if you are a non-smoker. Bottom line- 53,000 non-smokers die every year in this country from second hand smoke. Whe someone's right to smoke has that type of impact on others, I think we need to change things. It is a pain for smokers and I understand that. But just saying it's your right and the rest of us just have to deal with it is not the answer. What the answer is, I don't know exactly. Just some thoughts and opinions. This is in no way meant to be a slam at you or your feelings. I just thought I would answer your post.
