BWAHHAAAAAHAA!!! Thanks. I needed that.

My Granddad was a US Army Infantry Platoon Leader in WWII. He came back with a Browning high-power pistol and gave it to my Dad. It was one of the original ones actually made in Belgium. It also has the German Eagle stamped on the side near the trigger housing. It functions great but I rarely fire it. I'll also never sell it. It is something I'll pass along to my son and he'll hopefully pass it along to his. Cool stuff.

I think that goes in the "who gives a shit" category.

I'd like a parachute gear bag made of baby seal fur. That would be awesome! I'd be pimpin!

Seems the same way to me. The first two shots seem justified, the third might be a bit dodgy. You know... The sad thing is, you're probably right. He'll probably get into some kind of trouble for shooting more than once and not aiming for the ankle or some shit like that. What is wrong with our culture??? That guy comes in with a gun pointed in the other guy's face threatening to kill him if he doesn't give him all his money and we're worried about how many times the guy shoots to defend himself. He should have completely emptied his magazine into that guy. If he was still moving after that, he should have picked up a bat and caved his head in. That guy threatened his life with a pistol. He deserved to die. A wounded person can still kill you. He already made his intent clear. It's either the clerk or the robber. I choose the clerk. Christelsabine obviously automatically chooses the robber. It never ceases to amaze me.

Works for me too. If I'm on the jury, that guy gets a medal.
-
Me too. About every 5 seconds.
-
So do I... Little bastards!
-
That guy was still moving around and was still armed and dangerous (for all the clerk knew). All the clerk has to say is "I feared for my life." I would have shot him as many times as I could in that kind of close in firefight. Chalk one up for the good guys.

What's her basis for that argument?

Just don't interview here... Job Interview

I agree with you. You see...Kallend doesn't see it that way because he's hanging off the extreme liberal left by his fingernails. {he's a college professor; who would have thought?}

"Average women" don't like risky behavior. Although, who the hell really wants the average woman? Therefore, who really cares what all those high-maintenance, nagging, typical-types think? I say jump!
-
On that note, I agree with you.

Suzuki GSX-R1000 @ 174mph accident (VERY GRAPHIC!)

Great point! -
That's a great idea. Freefall in a ghillie suit. You'd probably lose some fringe. It would make a good picture, though.

Guess those cool leathers don't help you out at that speed. At least he obviously didn't suffer. That's rough! -
Snake swallows Kangaroo whole, I shit you not!
pajarito replied to BillyVance's topic in The Bonfire
That is absolutely crazy! There's no way that snake will live after doing that. First of all, how's it going to shit that thing out. Next, how's it going to move now that it's swallowed bones almost as long as it is? That thing will probably lay there now until it dies or something else eats it. Am I wrong? Damn!!! -
Most dangerous religion for the future of the world
pajarito replied to CanuckInUSA's topic in Speakers Corner
Yes -
What would happen if we ALL shared the same religion?
pajarito replied to Botellines's topic in Speakers Corner
Sharing the same religion doesn't eliminate the underlying problem of people's basic selfish nature. We are all imperfect and problems will most assuredly continue. -
I don't personally buy into that but...hey...everyone can read and make up their own minds. To each his/her own.

Isn't that usually the Devil? If the best you can come up with is hey look at that tree, isn't it pretty, therefore God exists; then I'm sorry I asked. It teaches inner-divinity, goddesses, the Christ consciousness, spiritual evolution, being one-with-nature, and anything else you want to believe -- except Christianity."
