  1. 3 kids and wife's away. nuff said.
  2. I guess I started to ramble, got carried away, and couldn't keep track of what was supposed to go where. It's the story of my life.
  3. Well...they've got to live with their choices. Very disapointing. I'm glad I'm not Spanish.
  4. Sorry about all that. I guess I screwed up the mark up in my paragraphs.
  5. www.plannedparenthood.org I guess, even though you did, in fact, choose to have sex and get pregnant, if you don't want or love them, it's ok to dismember and suck their parts through the vagina. Here's what "planned parenthood" centers provide. Not all, like Nightingale said, but I would not make the statement that most do not. I would at least say that they are considered the authoritative source. They would be who you would call if you wanted one. My wife, a practicing OB/GYN Physician said that all of the ones that she knows of do perform abortions. Maybe they are less likely to perform abortions on the West coast as opposed to the East (California vs. Georgia) but I doubt it. Contact Planned Parenthood at 1-800-230-PLAN, other women’s health care centers, or your private clinician. Planned Parenthood centers that do not provide medical abortion can refer you to someone who does. Or you can call the National Abortion Federation at 1-800-772-9100. [url http://www.plannedparenthood.org/about/thisispp/default.html#Offering%20Comprehensive [/url] Offering comprehensive health care services Each Planned Parenthood affiliate is a unique, locally governed health service organization that reflects the diverse needs of its community. Planned Parenthood health centers offer a wide range of services that may include family planning counseling and birth control pregnancy testing and counseling gynecological care, Pap tests, breast exams emergency contraception HIV testing and counseling medically accurate sexuality education screening and treatment for sexually transmitted infections infertility screening and counseling voluntary sterilization for women and men reproductive medical exams for men safer sex counseling midlife services abortions or abortion referrals prenatal care adoption referrals primary care referrals for specialized care Some points of concern of mine: Planned Parenthood also says this... How on Earth can they say or prove this? My wife says that when she uses suction to pull a baby out, not performing an abortion but for natural vaginal childbirth, that the baby comes out screaming and much more irritated than one where suction was not used. I'd say they probably do feel pain. My wife said she sometimes gets two visits in one week where women who have previously had an abortion performed at a Planned Parenthood clinic. This would skew their average a bit unless they are performing a "whole bunch." They come back in with exessive bleeding. My wife then has to go back in, perform a D & C and clean up the mess that they left behind. Which also leads to question their safety. Abortions are rarely performed at hospitals but, when they are, they're usually complete and no additional "clean up" work is required. In reference to how a D & C is performed, http://www.plannedparenthood.org/ABORTION/surgabort1.html#8, it isn't as delicate and painless as they lead you to believe in their description according to my wife. They make it seem almost as comfortable as going to the dentist to get your teeth cleaned. You get dialated and suctioned out with 60 psi suction.
  6. I voted for Indiana Jones in your poll but nobody's tougher than "The Duke."
  7. That's a bold statement given their past and reputation. Also given the size and terrain of their country. This is simply not true. The US wasn't the only country to believe that WMD were/are there. Lying implies an attempt to deceive. He was acting on the best intelligence he, and other countries, had at the time. It will be very hard to prove your case that he "lied." Again, that's a pretty bold statement with no basis. Total control will be lost when/if the UN takes over. I've seen it happen. The US, as long as we keep the right people in charge, will never tuck tail and run. We'll do whatever it takes to do the job.
  8. Just curious. Does your statment above not seem logical to you? It does to me. Not trying to stir this up or anything. I've already been through a very long discussion concerning this topic on this site.
  9. He went, he served, he came back, he protested, he disgraced and dishonored those with whom he served as well as his country, he lived.
  10. Just different. Another stage in life goes by. There will be more.
  11. I'm all for using the MOAB myself.
  12. Just throwing this out there. The "Human Cloning" thread from way back covered a lot on the abortion issue. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?do=post_view_flat;post=915399;page=1;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;mh=25;
  13. Never had one come out in freefall. I've had it snake out most of the way in the plane but only when I had a leg mount. My pouch had also lost a lot of elasticity. I changed to a BOC and check it everytime right before I go out the door. Sorry to hear about your episode.
  14. You're right. The Palestinians groups vow revenge against the Israelis all the time. Killing this guy isn't going to change that. They're in the same situation, as far as that goes, as they were before. Just short one more shit bag to have to deal with. Way to go Israel! Keep it up. Take em' down. One by one.
  15. Do you have a BOC or a leg pouch? I used to have a leg pouch and it's a lot easier to sneak out while moving around in the plane.
  16. What a huge waste of the energy it would take me to click my mouse and vote on this poll.
  17. What the f#$k are you talking about? It never stopped. We can't control everything in the country although we’ve interdicted some of the drug trafficking. We're trying to establish a functional central government that can "administer" things for the long term. You know, so they can build their economy in a democracy and pull their people out of the 15th century and educate them so they can live a better life and not be a threat to us…
  18. That was a way of life for those poor peasant farmers long before we ever got there.
  19. I'm no economist but it makes sense to me that, if you want to grow the economy, you have to encourage people to put money into it instead of taking a significant amount of it away. If I have more money in my pocket, I'm a lot more prone to go out an spend some of it. That's good for everybody.
  20. Drug traficking through Columbia has nothing to do with terrorist attacks in general, terrorist organizational funding, or 9-11 indirectly either, does it? I say that very sarcastically. You think ol'e Saddam was too much of an upstanding individual to have been involved in some of that kind of stuff. Saying "nothing to do with" is a weak stance.
  21. I served 17 years, including in 3 different combat zones, in the US Army. Done my part there too. Didn't say I wanted to refuse to pay taxes. Not the same thing. I said we worked our asses off for a very long time to get to where we are (like many other Americans). We didn't get much help. Not that I wouldn't have liked some. We're still paying huge amounts for it. Again, I didn't say I wanted to refuse to pay taxes. That's not the point. If they're handing out tax cuts, My wife & I deserve one just as much as anyone else.
  22. It's not their money. It's mine. My wife & I worked our asses off to get to where we are (
