  1. Yeah, but that one that you can't get rid of is all that you need.
  2. Infants? About 15 minutes. Adults require a more complicated surgery that cann't be done under local anesthesia. You would not enjoy that process.
  3. THIS. That is valid "oh fuck no I refuse to expose skin" cold. It only got to around 0-4 F Here last night. Sad.
  4. Well, schools in our area are already on a 2-hr delay tomorrow because....get this... It's cold. No snow. Just ...... cold. WTF.
  5. That game...fucking sucked. Pittsburgh's Defense.......well, should no longer be ranked number one, after getting shown up by the Cowboys. Dallas...god sometimes my own team makes me so sick just basically giving away the game in the last few minutes. At least the falcons lost too to keep our wild card chances remotely salvageable. *groan*

  7. Not why the fuck.....WHAT the fuck is he spending so much on. Amateur.
  8. Well, in the past I have several times had enough airflow through various goggles to suck a contact off my eye while tracking or freeflying.....therefore.... I ain't riskin it. Glad you have had no issues.
  9. Well, I can't say anything about it that Jen has not already covered. The first few hours are pretty miserable, but I was ok about 5 hours after surgery, Still a little dry this morning, but that's to be expected. I was -5.75 OS -6.50 OD prior to the procedure, this morning I am 20/25-1 OS 20/20 OD with a little blurriness cause by the dry eye. As for up and jumping in goggles in a few days....well, it's already been covered how dumb of an idea that is, so I won't rehash that here. All in all, very happy with it so far, but I have yet to drve at night. We'll see how that goes tonight. Thanks for all the well wishes everyone. /B/
  10. I knew I could count on you.
  11. ...in about 2 hours and 37 minutes from posting this. I've been in glasses since the 4th grade and contacts since freshman year of college. Finally stabled out and get to go have fun this afternoon and god-willing, sleep the rest of the day away. Just felt like sharing. Here's wearing goggles under a fullface for the next 2-3 months. Woohoo! Wish me luck! /B/
  12. To give favors in return for favors. And to keep the family in line.
  13. Just had to highlight it as an example. It's still funny.
  14. I swear to god it is this shit that keeps me coming back.
  15. Anyone here ever used them? They look good on resellerratings.com. I can't seem to find any horror stories floating around out there. Anyone? Edited cause I can't type.
  16. I mean I was just trying to help...... That sort of thing always used to work for me to get someone all...excited So lets see it.
  17. Nope. Turn it on and forget you have it. Always remember it is up to you to save your own ass.
  18. Fuck yes I do. I have thought about this several times and have actually considered giving up instructing once I get into a having a real salary given the sue happy nature of our society. I'm a stickler for the rules, train my students to the best of my ability, and well, I wouldn't jump with a student I didn't think I had the skills to fly with ....blah blah blah. Basically, I know what my personal liability is and I know how I behave/train/act with a student. Unfortunately I also know that we train many idiots on a regular basis. I don't want my house and kid's college fund going to Scott Lutz's protege'.
  19. That doesn't mean that it isn't stupid. much like that video link you just posted Hence the disclaimer I posted with it. I didn't force you to watch it.
