If you could bitch slap someone today who would it be?
wildcard451 replied to CSpenceFLY's topic in The Bonfire
The list is long and distinguished...like my johnson. -
Least he could have done was kick the little shit in his face.

I have. Plugging an ethernet card in my freshman year. Toasted the card, and it started giving all kinds of weird errors on startup. Only time though, thank god. Sad that that can happen, yet when I damn near shoved a screwdriver through a motherboard trying to screw a heatsink in nothing happens...

Try submitting something exciting with the time you're using to bitch/whine.

Yuck. It's got that disease on it. Shit growing out of its arms and legs, and all it can do is lay on its belly. Quick, kill it before it spreads!

Question for mechanic types - aftermarket cruise control
wildcard451 replied to Katzeye's topic in The Bonfire
So you are saying that I was on the right jerky track until I ruined everything by claiming that I wasn't trying to be jerky? If so I should point out that if I came across as jerky while making a deliberate effort to NOT sound jerky, then my jerkiness is genuine and should still earn me full value. .....that was stupid. -2. -
Not my first baby smart ass....just the first one since we moved labor and delivery to the new floor at a new hospital.

15 things that will get you banned from KMart
wildcard451 replied to aardvarkeater's topic in The Bonfire
Well, it's gotta be fake. Or at least I would hope so with that many spelling errors. But probably not enough to justify it being fake, since I am sure we have all seen plenty of horribly done "Real" documents. But still, no way that is real. -

Not intending to sound jerky, but if you are saying that you do not have the ability to slow down or monitor your own speed, and you want a computer chip to take over that rather important responsibility for you, perhaps you shouldn't be driving at all. Just a little food for thought. Not that you care, but hat almost earned you a point in my book. The "not to be a jerk" took it away though. -
So I'm up to deliver my first baby in the new hospital yesterday, and I show up in the morning to find that my patient was in room 1337. I just chuckled, and knew right then and there it would be a smooth one. I really wanted to tell someone why I was laughing like an idiot...but then looked around and realized that no one would get it. I know a few people around here will though. I'm such a geek.

I've had my right knee done, back in 2002. I grew up with Osgood-Schlatter's, so I have always had knee pain since age 13 since I had a bone fragment in my patellar tendon. It also turns out that I had an extra band of cartilage that due to packing all the time, had cause a friction blister on the back of my articular cartilage. No MRI was needed, my knee was locking and popping when I tried to extend it with a shitload of pain (it even hurt to sitfly). Since I had to have the scope, I asked them to take the bone fragment out at the same time. The recovery from the scope would have been short and sweet. The fact they had to split my patellar tendon in half and stitch it back to the bone? Yeah......6 weeks in a straight leg brace and then another 5 months before I was back to "normal" Sometimes the dx can be made without further imaging if it is obvious on physical exam. However, you are right to be wary of anyone that wants to cut first without you being comfortable with the reasons.

bunk rooms or good hotel near skydive dallas
wildcard451 replied to skinnyshrek's topic in The Bonfire
I have this feeling that the skydiving will be the happiest part of your trip. The remainder is going to be a huge letdown. -
Damn hot too. Happy birthday hun.

Of course, as long as those on the ground are kind enough to bring a case out to the landing area... Always tastes good to finish that last jump with a beer. 155 mile drive home here.

well, I know quite a few of us have played around in that game, however I would like to issue a warning to all of you. There are people who have spent a little cash while playing. I would advise against anything further. There seems to be a lot of funny business going on with admin access, weird shit happening with the website, and overall it seems that their security is overall pretty poor. Continue to use $$$ if you want, but you've been warned that it seems pretty fucking shady. I'm kinda curious as to where your CC information is stored at this point as well.

This one should do it... #73 on the all time high score list.

Do you have to go for both in the same throw? Just got a great height of 5785, but distance sucked.

Skydivers are fair weather friends
wildcard451 replied to shadowon's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Have you ever considered that maybe they really didn't like you to begin with, but jumped with you anyway? That or you just got in with a bunch of assholes, you decide. Real friends are friends regardless of sport. We still hang out with our former jumpers and non-jumpers regularly. But obviously less than we hang out with the people that you see every weekend you are out.
