Do you worry about how you'd react to a malfunction?

I had my first malfunction this weekend just gone(yes I have bought some beer!) and I have a similar issue to you in that I can't see my handles either. I was told by a couple of girl jumpers that have the same issue that if I couldn't get them on my first attempt (which wasn't actually a problem in the end, I grabbed them immediately) to touch my harness with both hands around the 3 ring area and follow it down to the handles. Edited to add: But obviously speak to your instructors about this issue and see if you can speak to a female instructor who may have some tips. Don't listen to me about this sort of thing as I'm a lowly 81 jump wonder with zero instructor ratings blah blah... ~~~ London Skydivers ~~~ -

hey guys, feeling vaguely more human after a bacon sandwich and a can or red bull! too much Stella for a week night Yeah it was fun and it was nice to put some faces to names, we'll have to do it again sometime soon. But its probably best to wait until after the nationals etc are over and when people have come back from dz's abroad etc. Cheers to everyone who made the effort to come despite the problems with the tubes, it was nice to meet some new people. haha, I didn't say anything nasty though. Its just that one of my friends is her size and all it takes is a couple of vodkas and she's on the floor! The pub we're going to is a Wetherspoons and they usually serve food in them so you can probably get something there unless you want something different. ~~~ London Skydivers ~~~

knowing some of the people planning on coming tonight, I can't imagine it will be too hard to persuade them to come out again in August and take you up on that offer! Not saying that we're a bunch of alchy's or anything ~~~ London Skydivers ~~~

yeah quite possibly mate - it was a poor showing from everyone but the Chatteris lot last time wasn't it! in reply to the 'which pub' question earlier, I vote for the Montagu Pyke on in Charing Cross Road as well, still as cheap but nowhere near as packed. see you all there...
