    Hmm...see thats what I thought too. I kinda liked that idea of being able to pull my own pin...I dunno. Maybe I'll try this freefly handle out and then in a year or two decide whether or not I want to send my rig in to be modified for a pullout. I guess the best thing would be to try them both.     I didn't mean to come off sounding like I was firm in any way. I just purchased a new freefly handle from mirage and just wanted to see if there would be any reason to send it back because I wanted a pull out but it's a throwout just with better protection. From what mirage told me the freefly handle they make is very safe and I just wanted to get a sense of what people thought about pullout systems. It seems like the majority of people out there...even freeflyers...use a BOC/Throw out system. So if it's safe enough for the masses it's safe enough for me.     From what I've been told a premature is less likely on a pull out because the pilot is not exposed until the straight pin is pulled out and the PC Is pulled out by the jumper. I'm not well informed I agree I'm a new skydiver with less than 60 jumps...but that's what I ask around.     I'm thinking of converting my g3 to a pull out system and want to see what other people are flying.     I've been getting back into jumping a lot and want to start working on my canopy skills...As always I do everything up top before I even think about doing them down low. My next feat I want to master is controlling my canopy using just my risers front/rear. I just want to have the assurance that if by some chance I have no use of my toggles I can make it to the ground in the same one piece package I left the ground in. I know there is no definitive answer to the question but there are some guidelines out there that people follow i'm sure...thats what I'm looking for.     I don't know much about plane engines but I do about car engines. A turbo engine in high temperatures will DEFINITELY not last as long as would a NA engine. The nature of a turbo is such that the hotter the exhaust from the engine the worse the performance is too. So you may be stuck with some bad situations in those hot temperatures. Again, this is only what I know about car engines so i could be totally wrong about plane engines. --joe --joe HISPA #69 The Best Band in the WORLD!!!     I had another experienced jumper tell me that the 825 lines wear faster than the 550 lines. ??? I'm guessing it has something to to with total surface area actually contacting the grommets of the slider. That has to be the only explanation. --smiley --joe HISPA #69 The Best Band in the WORLD!!!     I didn't know I was opening up such a big discussion here. I would have to say that I didn't even think about line trim when I was making this decision. Does anyone know the true facts behind trim and which one goes out of trim faster?
