A full resume package at IBM is 3 pages long including a cover letter, resume, and Bio. Then longer if you attatch references. The one that most of the managers look at for us is the bio...because it tells them what the individual has accomplished for a client. Congratulations on buying your new house. I just recently purchased my house...and I must say I love the fact I have something that I can call home. I'd say don't do it. I went to a school that has a huge greek scene and there isn't a single sorority house that I could say I've heard good things about. They each have their "stigmas." If you want a network of friends for the future start by building raport with people you may come into contact with today who you feel like one day will be an asset to know. Relationships built in college are seldom for a poor reason. I never thought about joining a fraternity because there was nothing that a fraternity could give me that I couldn't get myself. And I never wanted anyone to say..."Joe got that job because the boss was part of the Chapter here in town" I value the connections I made through highschool and the connections I made in college and It feels damn good knowing I did it myself. Sororities have a great support system for you if you are liked by your sisters...but try messing up or being put on one of your big sisters shit lists. You won't get that same kinda support you want. Being at UNC Chapel Hill for so many years I realize that the friends you make aren't the ones you pay for. Be an individual...don't fall into the norm....Jump more. Which brings me to the second part...skydiving is not ONE community. I have so many different kinds of people I hang out with and jump with at my DZ. There are the Freefliers, there are the RW people who WILL talk to me, then there are the staff and support of the DZ. There's so many types of communities in a dropzone you'll have plenty to discover. Don't do it. PUHLEAASE. But if you do...You'll still be part of the skydiver family to me. :) We'll love you for who you are...not for who you know. :) --joe HISPA #69 The Best Band in the WORLD!!! I'm from Chapel Hill, NC and we have a couple here. First is this bar/restaurant called Linda's and they have the BEST cheese fries in the world. The second is a restaurant/drunk food place right above linda's called hector's and they sell a bacon cheeseburger on a pita that is to die for. Don't forget the Tdaziki sauce...however you spell it. You're a trip man...and you're right...I'm impressed myself when I see a picture with my WHOLE head in it. :) Hey So today was a MOST amazing day at CSS. I showed up around 220 and got 4 jumps in by the end of the day. CRAZY nice day for jumping...Anyways, I'm gonna be there tomorrow as well if any of you are willing to show up on a thursday. And if all goes well I'll be doing my Jump 100 on Friday with all you free fly friday buds...Help me think of something cool to do.
