If you have to work your ass of just to eat, you have no time, money or will to study. If you really, really, really want, you wil have when you are 45 the knowledge of a 23 years old guy with resourceful parents. Then capitalism will prefer the 23 years old so we are again at the begining. Stupidity cannot be cured, and it is true that McDonalds is always recruiting. I think we all agree than someone whith a MAster degree usually have more knowledge about the subjet than just a student. And no doubt experience does wonders. But still you have not told us why being a student unqualifies me to speak about the subject i am studing. Of course being a student is nor a credential. as it is not a credential neither having a master degree over Internet (i get everyday spam about getting diplomas from not recogniced universities). However i don´t understand why for being a psicologist student i am often less qualified to speak about psicology than others. do you mind to explain? I agree with you that i could have left out the studying psicology part but since i was taking the piss asking him not to be Freud I though it was in order. In any case, i think i am right about the personality part. I don´t know why to talk bad about a country would make me have less personality (In case that i had done that). Usually people with low personality will join large groups to feel backed up by more people (often those persons have low self steem). That is how gangs work. I will post some links so you can read the same from someone who has already graduated when i find them. So far i get this information from text books. By the way, it is not the case, but i could very well be one week before graduating for finals in Spain are next week. So student can mean a lot of things.

The problem is, he is not american, lives and works in the US and has a profound interest in diminishing as well as insulting anything that has to do with the US. As a psicology college student i have been told that a lack of character is usually shown by the need to belong to a large group where your actions will be backed up (sounds familiar?). My opinions more often than not are supported for just a handful of other poster. However i encourage you to find a post where i put down the US as a country or americans as a whole. In the other hand, you DO put down other countries (like South Africa) without probably spending much time there. That is not very smart. As a matter of fact, you can find posts where i disagree with spain´s position about a subject. I guess that i should leave Spain ASAP. I do have my biased believes about controversial subjects, but i only post what i can backup with facts (preferible) or common sense. However Internet is a free country and you can post what you want. so go back to informed and factual statements like: America is the greatest country in the world South Africa is a bad country. Santa Klaus exists and GWB is a very cultural and honest guy.

As for the sociological and psicological consecuences of a child raised by two gays, i am sure it would be better if they were from diferent sex (hence not gays) but i am sure as well that it is better two parents (even gays) than only one, even if it is only for economical safety.

Actually it doesn´t blow my theory to hell. Good for you and for pajarito for getting where you are. So i know now two guys that made it thru capitalism. I never said it was impossible, though. but for two that where successful there is hundreds that were not, and not due to lack of will. Let´s face it, if you work hard enough, and are married to someone who work hard enough and don´t have many kids it is unlikely that you will starve. But that is one thing and another completely diferent thing is to do well economicly. Sort of having two cars, or a nice big house, or a brand new rig when the older gets too old, etc. How many people are ruined because they didn´t have money to pay the doctors? that is where socialism should be. A state that provides with the minimum basics for human dignity (socialism). And if you want the extras (cars, rigs, nice house, etc) then you will have to work hard (capitalism).

What does this expression mean? You are way out of touch with reality. The expression "socialism takes from me to give to the lazy" pretty much speaks for itself. I don´t know your background, but i doubt you come from a low income family. Capitalism works for you. And it works for me, and i am happy with that, but i admit that it doesn´t work for everybody. If you don´t have enough money for college because you barely make it thru the month to feed your family, capitalism does not works for you. I have been living in the US and i can tell you that the US is not the greatest country in the world. As a matter of fact, Spain is not either. Neither the UK where i have also lived for a while. When i spend a fair amount of time in EVERY country on this planet, i will tell you IN MY OPINION which is the greates country. The rest is just cheap propaganda. About capitalism... Don´t get my wrong, i think capitalism is necessary to some extent. You need some way to reward the hard worker over the lazy scum. To not do so is an invitation to have a country full of lazy disatisfied people. However, i do think is necesary some form of socialism so everybody is given a fair chance to earn money by hard work. And a strictly capitalist society does not do that.

That's so not right. Capitalism is a means of allocating resources. One of the odd facets of economic systems is that they grow. And the methods of allocating their products effects the rates at which they grow. In fact, over the long term, Capitalism is nice to poor people, because it's nice to everyone--it grows the total output more/faster. First of all, know that i haven´t seen a dead body ever, and this is the first snuff movie i see. (and hopefully last). The video does look strange. I would think that a beheaded body would bleed a lot, and there is almost no blood on the movie. But i think that if Berg was already dead, since his heart would not be pumping there wouldn´t be mnuch blood coming out. That would explain it. Also, at some point he should have realized they were going to kill him. Why didn´t he struggle? he wasn´t pinned to the floor to the point that he couldn´t move at all. Not that it would have changed anything, but anyone would struggle when facing a violent death.

I have always thought that the cruelest jokes are also the funniest. But, are you ready to laugh about yourself? (this is directed at everybody) I mean would you also laugh at a t-shirt with the four charred bodied of the US contractors if it sais something like that they try too get tanned too hard? or maybe a tshirt with the beheaded contractor and in the back a line that sais something like "don´t forget your head!!!". I pretty much agree with your analisys. How can someone defend against terrorist willing (hoping for) to inmolate taking as many casualties as possible? But think how much safer would be the US (albeit not 100%) if all the troops in Irak would go back to the US (it wouldn´t be a retreat, just a tactical relocation of troops so no pride would be hurt) and dedicate his time to do background checks, protecting airports, train stations, etc. Edites for spelling.

Actually, when the abuse came out, some did blame "the US military" and "it went all the way to the top". When the beheading happened, some did blame the entire Muslim culture. The key word here is 'some'. There will always be knee jerk reactions and overly simplified reaction statements.
