Granted, I can't yodel worth a damn, but when it comes to being a JACKASS, I'm the MAN....er...I mean JACKASS Jefferson wrote a letter to the Danbury Baptists as well that was quite interesting. I'll have to read one of those books, Bill. Gareth, I don't think many people would want the establishment clause removed, though I do believe that the ACLU and friends have gone overboard to the point of absurdity in Christian-bashing via the courts.
  3. I see you're part of the anti-short coalition, whiskey bent and hell bound on keepin' the short man down! I'm not voting in this anti-short thread and reject all anti-short propoganda outright! 8. Iran and North Korea are both different tactical, strategic, and diplomatic situations than Iraq is/was. This type of foreign policy has no real world application. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  9. Ooooooh that looks yummy... ...anybody got some money for a poor short man to get a highly expensive and experimental leg extension done, so he can fulfill his lifelong dream of getting into the NBA? I think the operation costs about US$225,000... Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

  15. I find your not reading the thread humorous. I find your inability to use the search function to learn why I considered sKerry and ALGORE horrible choices humorous, but a bit less so. You and Amazon have a long way to go to make me chuckle as hard as Lucky has this year. I find your intense hatred of GWB rather sad. Highly intelligent and seasoned politicians don't drink so much iced tea they leave the room frequently to piss whilst big wigs are about. Nor do they fundraise at Buddhist temples. Or claim they would have guarded ammo dumps as POTUS. Or vote for the war before voting against it. I could go on. I found the alternate candidates unacceptable in both '00 and '04 and have no regrets about how my vote was cast. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  16. Hadn't heard those quotes before, but if that's her opinion, then she and I disagree. I might vote for her and I might not, should she run. I would probably vote for her because should she run in '08 she would probably be the better candidate.
  17. Your level of hilarity is declining. You're never going to surpass Lucky if the trend continues. The vitriolic partisan tone is there, but just not as funny. Keep working. I don't identify myself by my race and don't really care what color anyone else is. Can you give me a reason why I should? If the racists supporting racial discrimination under the guise of affirmative action did the same, then perhaps they'd realize why what they support is so despicable. It's not that such racial discrimination is a slight against my own or any other conservative's race or gender - we don't identify ourselves that way and could care less. It's that racial discrimination for purposes of employment, advancement, admission, or retention or anything similar is utterly despicable in and of itself and has no place in a civilized society. I have no friends in either the CCC or the KKK, though I do know some losers in the KKK. Those with political bumper stickers were sporting their Kerry bumper stickers proudly even after the election when I was home in KY visiting my parents. They don't talk to Catholic folks, so I didn't coverse with them. Perhaps you could meet up and party. They support racial discrimination - so do you! You also vote the same way, so you've got more than one thing in common. Tell them you're a skydiver, and they'll undoubtedly provide cheap entertainment, and perhaps even give you a sheet to wear. You too can then say 'hold mah beer and waaaaaatch this!' Neither leftists nor conservatives alone set up the early society of the US - it was done by people of many different religious and political beliefs. Your assertion that conservative white men set up a system of racial discrimination on their own holds no merit. Again, for hatred against anyone who disagrees with the political beliefs of another, look no further than the DNC for examples aplenty. Borking, for example, immediately springs to mind. Cynthia McKinney and her father's oh so classy comments after her electoral defeat a couple of years ago. Or Ms. Malveaux's comments on Justice Thomas. The hatred spewing out of Julian Bond's mouth towards Mr. Bush during the last election cycle. Messrs. Bond and Jack$on's comments on Mr. Steel during Maryland's gubernatorial election and the oreo cookies that were passed out (not thrown) during one of that election's debates. Plenty of other examples are out there. The left has made a habit of character assassination for anyone who disagrees with them on their most coveted issues. The right to a far, far lesser extent. I don't hate those who disagree with me - on most things at any rate. In contrast, I frequently try to engage them and banter about such disagreements. 'tis unfortunate that they tend to do their best imitation of Monty Python's Sir Robin when challenged to answer the most basic of questions about the positions they tend to hold. 21. GWB was the better choice in both '00 and '08. I disagree with this veto, off the cuff. Haven't read the bill though, to be honest. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
  22. Have a safe trip. Don't speed on 301 South if you take that routing. Raeford's loss - Zhills' gain.
  23. Finish the book and perhaps you'll find your answers. You haven't gotten very far.
  24. As I stated, it seems impossible to discuss the Middle East in this thread. Good for another chuckle, but you're still behind Lucky for my coveted Speaker's Corner Humorous Post of the Year award. Since partisanship is apparently the new theme of the thread, let me try and be partisan too just to be cooperative and respond a bit to your humorous commentary. i'm a bit mellow these days, so I hope my conservative friends in here will forgive me if I'm not very fiery... I find it odd that you don't watch CNN. They do some excellent journalism and I recommend them highly, even if they do lean to the left quite a bit. FOX is also a great source of news, as is my favorite magazine, The Economist. I prefer FOX for TV news, but that's just me. I watch both about equally - perhaps a bit more Fox as I do prefer their commentary programs when I have time to watch. You really should tune into Mr. Franken and visit DU.com - you'd find many kindred spirits there. I go to DemocraticUndreground for a laugh on occasion. I haven't used the term 'demoKKKrat' or 'demoKKKlaner' in quite a while in here, but when I do make use of either I feel the play on spelling to be quite apropos. I've compared and contrasted the KKK with the DNC platform before and you were incapable of finding fault with it. Go back and review it if you like - if you find fault I'll happily recant. Good luck - you'll need it. We're forty years past the sixties now and both the RNC and DNC have evolved markedly since then - just like society as a whole. The racists of today tend to reside in the NAACP, NAN, CAIR, and other such organizations, though I believe that all political parties do have racists in them. The former Grand Wizard and current senior senator from WV still resides in the Senate and to this day supports racial discrimination, as a nice data point for you. That in itself makes my little play on spelling most appropriate, one might say. David Duke is ostricized by the RNC and conservatives in general. Didn't both Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson run for president on the Democratic ticket? With enough support for a nationwide campaign? Do you really wonder why my play on spelling of the word 'democrat' strikes home a bit? Call all republicans, conservatives, libertarians, and non-liberals cowards all you like. Some, in truth, are. The coward SOB I spoke of in a previous post in this thread leans to the right, I do believe. I argue that anyone who can't state what they support is a coward. Along the KKK line of thinking that you've brought to bear, how many democrats have you seen on the campaign trail touting their support of racial discrimination for employment, promotion, and collegiate admission? How many run like cowards when pressed over their support of such? Since you didn't answer my question about Ms. Malveaux, I'll answer these two questions for you. None of them tout their support of racial discrimination, they instead call it 'affirmative action' and refuse to admit it's the same thing because they lack the courage. About 99% of them run like cowards when pressed on the issue. Sad, because you can form an argument as to how such programs are useful. Not a strong one, mind you, but one can form an argument in support of affirmative action and some fine, upstanding, and intelligent people do in fact support it. That's enough partisanship for me today. I'm cooking some goodies for a visiting friend later this week and need to hit the grocery store prior to reading on the beach and working out. 25. I'm off to the beach to yodel at the moon. Or at least give a good howl. I think it's got future sport potential. Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the waaaaaayyyyyy... Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
