Congrats to all who wanted it. Clicky Yes, LouDiamond that does include you. I don't appreciate the insulting insinuation I ever wrote anything bad in here about people that work for me, but I know you wanted this and am happy for you. I'm sad for my country because I don't think we can fucking afford it. But I don't think we can afford a lot of things right now that we're funding, and this will probably pale in cost compared to what we'll spend on future gov't health care programs that will be coming our way soon in all likelihood. Anyway, if anybody wanted this, then I'm glad for you. For the country - no. Maybe I should go get another BS...I've always wanted to study mathematics a bit more in depth. Once could use that about many politicians and what they spew. Al Gore and his iced tea defense, for instance. Hadn't thought about that for years. Looky what I found!!!! Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

Spain played superbly...they deserved the win and got it. No free lunch for me...grumble grumble... Congrats, Spain!

LMFAO! Dude, what is up w/you these days? I haven't seen you in at least two years.

Dude! You've made the short man hungry! I LOVE Irish culture. REALLY good stuff. Hadn't even thought about colcannon in a while, but now I'm really wanting some! The last I had was in Dubai, I do believe. Never been to Ireland, but need to get there.

Clicky This Zimbabwe thing saddens me. Africa is such a FANTASTIC place. I've been to Zimbabwe (2001) and its natural beauty is breathtaking. It's just so sad that Africa is so screwed up. Zimbabwe, Congo, Sudan, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Somalia - it just seems there's a never ending story of tragedy for that remarkable continent. Bwaaahahahahaaa! Fidiot. I LOVE stupid criminal stories. Sorry to see anybody be that stupid, but they are entertaining. I used to have a book on them - I think the title was America's Dumbest Criminals. There was a story about the idiot who carjacked a woman with no cash and had her write him a check. The poor woman's bank tried to charge her with an overdraft charge if memory serves. Another genius decided to rob a store in the nude as he thought clothes could be used to identify him. Fucktards. The average level of American education is so screwed up it's not even funny, true enough. I think the answer to that is enforcing standards in the lower levels of education. You're from Ireland, I take it? Different scale, culture, economy, and etc altogether. Can't argue that the Irish Miracle did occur.

I was in Tanzania - either just coming down from Kilimanjaro, when England crushed Germany 5-1 in Munich. All the Germans were getting no mercy from the Brits! Apparently it caused all sorts of issues for the Germans that year for some reason - they told me but I forgot. My office mate predicts a Spanish win...so i'm hoping Germany wins so I get a free lunch on Monday. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

There was an interesting article in Foreign Affairs a bit ago on the economic impact of a Northwest Passage actually opening up to shipping. Pretty interesting article - I hadn't thought about it until I read it. -

Maybe YOU can tell us why this is a good deal for the taxpayer since LouDiamond obviously can't. Maybe my boss can retire (again) and then go snag a degree in Polynesian Languages at the University of Hawaii, tuition covered, drawing E-5 housing pay. Hope not - I like the guy. I would buy him a Mai Tai at Duke's if I came to visit, however. Thing's going to pass 99% likelihood. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

If Germany decides they want to play defense, then they win. If they just show up to shoot it out with Spain, they lose. Looking forward to the game.
-
Nice! Spain has one HELL of an offense. The Germans will have to play some decent defense, but I think they'll win. I say Germany, 2 - 0. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

WTF? I don't even remember what year that occurred! '05 or '06 think. Who was on that anyway? I have a video somewhere... Ambush away. I've been somewhat depressed of late and could use a good pie to cheer me up.

Awesome! There's an amusement park near the base of Fuji that has a BADASS set of roller coasters - or it used to. there used to be a badass water park in Tokyo called Toshimaen that was fun in the summer. JAPANESE FOR BUSY PEOPLE was a most useful series, I thought. Sake, Sapporo Super Dry, awesome sushi-go-rounds...yakitori...sashimi...chonko-nabe...Japanese baseball games (I like the baystars)...what a fun place! Roppongi in Tokyo is a GREAT bar district. Damn, but I miss that place...my japanese sux now... I'm jealous.

Munich. Super beer gardens, incredibly laid back people, nice train system, nice parks, Deutsches Museum. Hong Kong would be a close second, I think.

I hate that SOB Mugabe. He's slime and has caused more pain and suffering than I'd care to imagine. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

Ausgezeichnet!!!! I was surprised the score wasn't more lopsided in Germany's favor. The stats on BBC's sports page showed the Turks played a far better game than I thought they would. Wish I'd seen the game...my friend has it on DVR, but it's less fun to watch already knowing the outcome. This is going to be a great ending. The Russians are really pumped, though I think their match is up for grabs. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

The choose your rate choose your fate concept eludes you. The fact that education is not a right eludes you. The fact that an all volunteer force exists without these new benefits eludes you. The concept of graduate education payback the officer corps is forced to pay eludes you. The concept of government oversight on expenditure of funds eludes you. It is clear you're a testament to the brilliance of whatever philosopher (Hegel I think) said that truth has no greater enemy than convictions. Your conviction that education is a right and not a privilege has blinded you to the above. This garbage: And I expect anyone not to selectively quote as a means to malign someone. The phrase - nothing wrong with that appeared afterwards. Why ever would you leave that out I wonder? You've embarrassed yourself, blatantly insulted me, made false inferences and statements about my attitudes towards many people I happen to like and respect, and stated nothing substantive. 'I've worked hard and deserve more and it will help recruiting' is about it. Think as you like - I always do. And I don't have to make false statements, selective quotes, or make insultingly false inferences to make my point.
