    Last week I ran tues and thurs on the trail with Kelly and Saturday morning at the gym before going to the dz. Think I'll do week 1 again tomorrow. Might bump up the intervals later in the week.

    Like mine?? I did my AFF at ASC. I lived in Nashville and was told by ASC that they were the closest. Little did I know I was driving right by Tennessee Skydiving Center on my 4 hour road trip. Hell I didnt know any better, I just wanted to have fun so I didn't question. duhhh..

    Trampoline! Its STILL fun! I was jumping on one at the Star Farms boogie with McBeth and Flygirl (leah) and we were all giggling our heads off!

    I'm not a super experienced freeflyer so this may be a silly question.. but lets say you're head down at break off. This guy is just bellying out and pulling in place? You want to belly out long enough to slow down from the ff speeds.. why not take that time to track anyway? Maybe he is a weak tracker and thats the source of the problem? Either way, everyone on the team should know what everyone else is doing at break off, particularly if one is pulling in place.

    My great great great grandfather, Nathaniel Massey was an Irish immigrant and endentured servant in East Tennessee. He was released from servitude to go fight in the War for Texas Independence in place of his landowner. So he fought in the war and afterwards helped settle the town of Walnut Springs. My great great Uncle, Deaf Smith, is pictured in a painting sitting at the right hand of General Sam Houston in the parlor of the Texas State Capitol, and has a county in West Texas named after him. He was Nathaniel Massey's nephew..I think. Ever wonder why UT(N)'s football team is called the VOLS? Volunteers. Many Tennesseeans volunteered in the war for Texas independence as well as WWI. I think theres a famous Marine from TN who left his home and had better living conditions in WWI military. I've heard the story but dont know it well enough to repeat it.

    As many people have stated, the instructors at ASC are quality. My reason for not jumping there is because I have been personally affected by the deceptive business practices of the owners of this company, and I refuse to put money in their pockets. I did my AFF there, before I knew any better. If you choose to stay there for your AFF, make sure you get to jump with Jesse.. hes a good instructor. But please realize that you have other choices in Atlanta. ASC will train you well but its much more of a business like atmosphere. The Farm will train you well and you'll feel like you're part of a family. Good luck with your training! Hope to jump with you in the near future!

    Doug, darlin. I wouldnt hook up my worst enemy with him. He is a wonderful person but completely and utterly relationship-retarded. Besides, hes my ex, not my best friend. And girls dont hook their girl-friends up with exes. BTW I hear you are tying the knot in the next few weeks! Congrats!

    I was going to do yoga tonight but I think I'll switch up my cardio schedule to M, W, TH nights. Count me in! Kelly and I have been talking about working up to a half marathon.

    Sigh. Its not that hes not nice.. hes my best friend. I wouldnt let kelly waste her time on a jerk. I have, however, seen him go through alot of women. And I DO mean ALLOOOOOT!! hehehe.. jk. Hes no more of a man whore than nature allows. So there, he's perfect for Kelly! hehehe..lmao! But yeah the whole details thing.. I dont want to hear any more details about him than I would want to hear about my brothers. But I wouldnt take it as far as stabbing my eyes out. I fully support their romantic endeavor, or long distance booty calls.. whichever path they take.

    The Farm is fun, and so is Skydive Atlanta. The farm has swoop ponds, and its a pretty place to camp. SDA has a super fast super king air and you can camp or crash in the hanger. You'll enjoy either drop zone. Both have showers and facilities. There arent any dz's close to Suwanee. The only dz open during the week is ASC, a solid 2 hours from Suwanee.
