Okay.. since I was out of town and took 4 days off of running, I'm going to run week 1 for the last time tonight, and then I'll start week 2.

You've heard good advice on this thread. The only other advice I'd add is to be careful of how much she allows the sport to consume her when she starts her student progression and gets her license. Skydiving is very exciting for jumpers old and new. We spend a lot of time, energy, and money on it. If shes going to be a jumper and you're not .. just be careful that you keep the scales balanced in your relationship. -

Dont forget all of the "Look at me! Pay attention to ME!" threads.... as if you could. There were at least a few of those today.. I've been having a difficult time finding anything of interest in the bonfire lately.

I visualize my ideal landing pattern before I get on the plane. That can change with the spot and with other traffic in the pattern and you have to deal with that as it comes, of course. What else helps you with your setup? Yes.. best of luck!!

Well, that's kind of not possible, as it costs some hundred $ extra from Germany to fly to AUS or SAT. But thanks. M. Ahh.. well if I were going that way I'd pick you up.. but dammit I'm in Georgia.

Oh dont worry, your wife was taking care of my drunk ass on friday night, so it was kinda like you were there! I have the same struggles with balance. Work.. family.. relationships.. skydiving..

You should try flying in to AUS or SAT then. They're a lot closer.

I can't donate because I lived in England in the early 80's and I guess that means I could have contracted mad cow disease as a five year old. I'm 30.. you'd think I'd know by now. Anyway.. I've always wondered how they dealt with that in England.
