Ok so when you did your practice pulls, your hackey was there, but not when you went to actually pull?? Is this your gear or rental gear? Is the harness too big? If it does actually fit well.. I'd get on a creeper and practice body position. Body position could have been the reason you couldnt find it. If you tense up and flatten out instead of relax and arch when you go to pull. Just some ideas.. I can see why you're confused and frustrated. Dont give up.. work it out.. and until then, dont be shy to pull silver if you cant get your main out!

I didn't know him, but I'm sitting here at work looking at his website and trying not to cry! (no crying at work!) A boogie is a really cool way to honor and remember your friend.. You can't go wrong with any of the Atlanta area DZ's. From your other post, it looks like you are starting AFF at The Farm this weekend. Hans is a wonderful instructor. He was one of my AFF instructors as well! My advice is, finish AFF, do your first 20 or 30 jumps at the same dz where you are comfortable with the rental gear/landing area/people, etc. And then go exploring to find your home dz. Some folks in ATL dont like to say they have a home dz.. and you dont have to either. There are always boogies and events going on .. just go jump where you want to, when you want to. I really think you'll have a great experience at all of the Atlanta dz's. I'll be at The Farm this weekend.. I hope to meet you! Pray for blue skies all weekend! We're gonna have some fun! Kristi
