    I know someone who asked a greenie to ban them because they couldn't stay out of the speakers corner and it was stressing them out. It is a freakin addiction. I woke up this morning and said I would just check my PM's before working out, and what did I do? Posted and PM'd during my workout time.. I'm not going to have a hot ass anytime soon if I keep that up!

    Ok.. sorry. But realize that Charles isn't exactly forum-savvy, and every time he has posted, or cross-posted or whatever, people have jumped all over him instead of helping him. I'm just sticking up for the little guy, as usual. Point is, Joan is no longer in a coma.

I really think it is the speed at which my fingers are doing this typing thing - - not even the memory on the dcomputer can keep up and it gets confused and inserts characters and spaces where it thinks is appropriate.     It was posted in Incidents, and he has basically said what happened. She is a fellow jumper who has been in intesive care for about four weeks. Shes pulling through, Thank God. Charles doesnt post regularly in the forums, but he is just trying to give us an update on Joan's condition. Don't be so insensitive because you don't know her. And dont get all pissy because he is asking for donations either. If someone "popular" on the forums or in swooping, freefly, etc.. got hurt, we'd all band together and hold a raffle or a boogie for them.. nobody is doing that for Joan, so hes forced to ask. You dont have to contribute if you dont feel the need. Geez people. Nice "community".

    Skydivers get caught up with each other because they share the same passion for the same thing. It tends to work for a while.. then life outside of the dz starts creeping in and things change.. differences arise.. just like in whuffo relationships. It gets complicated when you date a lot of skydivers, and they date a lot of skydivers.. and pretty soon you'll find yourself dating some guy who used to date your friend(s) or who is good buddies with your ex, or ... etc. Imagine youre on a small island with the same group of people who all like to do crazy shit and get drunk. Whaddya think is gonna happen? On the other hand.. you might find your soul mate. Just prepare yourself.. cause your soul mate has probably had sex with your best friend. hrmpf.
