Yep you are right. Looks like the closest DZ to you is Skydive Monroe. If you've got the weekend free, I'd go to The Farm. If you're on a time budget, Monroe is your best bet. Great dz as well. Skydive Atlanta is in Thomaston, probably a couple of hours from Duluth. Thats the cool thing about Atlanta.. lots of choices!

I'm going to be at The Farm in Cedartown. $110 all you can jump boogie. www.skydivethefarm.com But to answer your question, SDA is open and its a fun dz... but its not North of Atlanta.
