when I started jumping in 1983 at Cuba MO there was very experince black Skydiver real Nice guy...Andrew Williams....from Columbia MO. We were jumping cowboys caravan 208 at Spatra IL and following weekend Andrew was in Atlanta on business.. He worked for IBM IIRC...and was killed in Cowboys Carvan Crash at skydive Atlanta....

no I think John is referring to a airline employee "buddy pass" standby ticket.. but in John case all the high pass standby pass class get seated first, Employees, parents of employees then "buddys" so it can be hard to travel standby with all the flight schedule cut backs lately. I work for a airline and I travel standby only always.. and its not bad at least I can pick my flights...but its been tough to get those first class seats lately... Hey Mike~ You got one of those "Marry Me & Fly for FREE" Tee-Shirts? No.. I'm not marrying any one.. it's the #1 cause of divorce.

Ditto! He's come a helluva long way since the 2005 Deaf World Record in Florida. If he gets the 102 way, that'll beat my personal best 101 way. That's impressive considering I got my first 100 way at 500 jumps. yea he has, but I still won't give him a pin check in airplane before exit... he got mad as hell about that! -

Actually, the jumper should be tasked with timing their exit so that any prosthetics that might fall off in free-fall also land on target as well them under canopy. In the case of multiple limbs, the prosthetics must split the target... The Paralympics is getting zero mainstream coverage in the US...don't know about elsewhere. yea your right Max I haven't heard anything since regular Olymics closed.. even the special olympics get more press coverage than the para-olympics.......

yea aircraft are pressuized and door won't open ... you'd have to be superman to open that door in flight........

It was a LC-130 from Safair the LC-130 are streched version 130's they are longer most LC-130 are ski equimented.... there was a Navy LC-130 that crashed in anartica few years back.. heard someone bought from Navy as was going to dig it out hang new engine on and fly it out... never heard end of that... outcome..

Billy I still remember when we drove my VW Jetta TDI to lake wales Florida..... you were dong 105 mph in 65 mph zone for over 2 hours ... I din't care it would be your ticket.... but what surprised me was when added fuel / mileage we still avg. 41 mpg big drop from the 46 / 47 mph me / Wes were avg. at 65 mph....when we drove....

I have Garmin GPSMAPS 496 which I use mostly for flying.. its great but it has auto datebase and marnie data too... does everything but its bit pricy $2500

thats not true Qantas had bunch of their prop planes in early 40's nd 50's crash... hey hard landed a 747-400 and repaired it for mor than cost of what aircraft was worth.. just to say hey nver lost a jet.. they had 717 I think it was...had hard landing that they are going to hace to write it off yea John Rich is right about media.. the crew had to make rapid descent to 10,000 feet where air more bethable... up at 30,000 feet they' be out of oxygen in few 15 / 30 seconds....they don't have time to screw around so they do raiddesent too 10,000 an then trouble shoot WTF happen....
