you might find a CFII at local flight school that you like... till you fly with them, you won't know. I moved around to several different CFI while learning for my priavte pilot rating, it's harder to learn when your deaf....too bad because i'm deaf I can't get a insterment rating...oh well

I have a Racer, used to have a Vector 2 and Talon 2 but I love the fit of the racer. and as someone else already pointed out reserve pins security is the best, and repack too some riggers don't like them.. all in all I'd go for Racer over the Icon if I were you... Icon is copy of French Atom rig..

best place to go would be to hearing aid dealer and ask them to make an impression of ear like we use for hearing aids. you'll get them back in about a week, cost about 60 bucks. they'll fit sooo comferterable you won't know it there. if this is your first time with ear molds, it'll take you a few days for ears to get used to them.. They'll fit like a well fitting glove. they'll keep out sound very well.

. These people dont know what the hell they are looking at on the xray screens IMO. I agree. I had my new Firebolt assembled in my Racer, and flew to SGF to pick it up, my skydive buddy Steve Eggers who runs airports Crash Fire Resuce service loaned the rig to the TSA that day.. they were having trainings class and he lent rig so they's know what one looked like on X-rays etc. The TSA at SGF know's Steve skydives if they got questions about a rig.. they call Steve over.

Guy, just came home last night from track day over holiday weekend at Texas World Speedway, on his new 2004 Honda CBB1000RR, now he's getting ready to take it all apart, make some set up changes... Yea get together some weekend remember my days off are now friday / Saturday's. & most Sunday's start work at 11 pm Sunday night..

Skydive Dallas is nice DZ. I know some of the staff a bit.. just from BS with em during high wind weather hold ealier in the year... your in Keller? me too..I'm right next to Library, easy to find... oh and fast way to get to DZ is advoid 121 take 635 to 75 N to 121 too much construction on 121 between grapevine and 75N it'll save you an half hour easy..

Eric your an idiot in my book.. checking your rig? you ever see the nasty stuff they spill in cargo bays on aircraft? we have to clean them when they come in for their mainbase visits and there's lot of NASTY stuff in there...!! oil, grease, acids who knows what else.. I for one will NEVER check my rig, I always carry it on.

Do you know Bobby Brochaddo that works out there? No haven't heard the name. I work Bay 3 767 bay 2&3 are 767 Bay 4 & 6 are 777 bays 1 and 5 are "drop in" bays everyone else works the Engine shop and I'm seldom in the egine shop...might be where he works as I know just about everyone in the hanger.

Yea, I work at Alliance / AFW overhaul base on the 767 I too have all my D1 for 2005 left still. going buy a pitts? 2 seater? i'll go for hell of it for the ride. last time I was in a Pitts was with TWA captain Don Gough shortly before he died non-rev on flight 800 I get off from work at AFW at 7:30 am Friday. we have several magafux /& X-ray machines here at base want me sneak crank in for you?

my roommate has a 2004 Honda CBR1000RR he rides it on street, but he'll also race it. it takes him 2 days just to take strret stuff off and add race faring etc to it. he's been racing them for about 10 years now.. he won't race it on street like lot of other sport bike riders will.. he has 1995 CBR900RR too that he's selling..
