    Well hell yeah it's heavier. It's also a lot bigger. I look out my window at work now and I am lookin at a SAS A330 and one of our 777 next to each other and the size difference is very noticable. It also has a lot more power with the GE-90. I would like to see both the plane and the boom mod's done in the US but I dont think that will happen. I think the AF wil stay with the Airbus. Very sad in my view but I am biased for a Boeing. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

    Well YEAH! Airbus comes to the table with the A330 anf the AF cramed in there pants. But that size of plane is not what the AF asked for in the beggining. So Boeing is standing with cock in hand thinking "Shit". So if the AF wants a plane in the size range of the A330. The 777 is your baby. The thing is a monster and the GE-90 are a powerhouse that still amaze me everyday I see it. Heavier than what? The 767? 787? A330? If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

    True, that guys in jail now if I remember correctly. The AF also changed what they were asking for. First they asked for a plane the size of the 767 with the same MTOW as the 767 then 3/4 into the game they changed the plans. That is what has me thinking they might be throwing together a 787 plan. That might get the attention of the AF. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

    Maybe they are lookin in to see if the 787 can do the job and come up with a new idea. The 787-9 will have more lift and range than the 767. Who knows whats going on. I would like to see the plane built in Washington instead of France. We could use the jobs in this country instead of shipping more over the pond.     We don't need any assistance from the TSA on that front. Our bag smashers and catering trucks keep us busy as it is. The TSA is a joke when they do there spot checks at night. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

    Rookie-Did some stupid stuff as a low timer so The Rookie became my name. Moonshine-Last name Moon so Mooshine became the catchy thing I guess. Super Otter Spotter. I spotted and 20 way out of an otter and the nearest just landed 2 miles from the airport. OOP's. I have no idea to this day how I managed that one. I just went and bought a keg that night.     Why would you want to? It's much more fun the slide down them. The 777 is a little hairy. Thats a long fall and it's a steep one on top of that. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

    Maybe their lives got busy with other things. I know I have not been to the DZ in some time now and have lost some contacts. It no big deal. I am taking a big break from the sport for now. I just lost the spark. Some people get into other activities. I got into going to the track with my motorcycle so I have been hangin out with those guys. Maybe when I clean my plate with other things I will get back in the air. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

    The problem is getting from the train station to where I work. Believe me I have already beat that issue into the ground. I wish I could take the train to work. I only live 3 miles from a station. My wife takes the train everyday into Manhattan. Hell we even got a carpool just to go to the train. It's nice since everybody who rides with her, they rotate who is paying for the gas. I only pay about once every 6-8 weeks depending on how much we drive on the weekend.     I'm not gonna suggest anything. I prefer the Otter as my ship of choice. I'm not the one yelling about conservation as I run to a turbine powered aircraft just for my amusement. What distance? Probably, wont argue that point. You ever drive the New Jersey Turnpike? It's like the LeMan's out there! If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!
