I have a 2 sided view on this. First is the military will pay the soldier back. Just takes time and the BS forms that you have to fill out. I had to do it when I was PCS. The second is why should the airline waive the fee for anyone? They are there to make money. Who cares on who's the one flying? If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

I like the LED when I am guttin or doing something up close. I dont like the LED for trackin. The LED just doesnt seem to have the candle power to punch a good beem of light out a good distance. I carry a Mag charger. Not just the plain Mag light. The Mag Charger had a hefty battery that recharges plus it has a halogen bulb that has some serious candlewatt power. I use my map and compass most of the time due to the map having terrain details. The GPS doent show any details like that. But when the snow was flying and I couldnt see 1/8 mile or any terrain features the GPS was my hero. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

I would look into a good GPS. I know some men call me a pussy for getting it. But when we were in Montana lost from here to tuesday, guess what those guys asked from me? The GPS. As for the rest of the gear I don't see anything that I would get rid of. Thats about whats in my pack. I have a few other little things but about the same as you carry. Reporters are reporting Palin is the pick. Reporters dug it up but it's not official yet but somebody said they saw her in Ohio with McCain now. So it looks like a woman will be running for the VP slot. I wish I could post some info on her. From what I have read of her I like her. I would like to post some information on her but 5 websites I just tried to post from have crashed. Probably because nobody has heard of her and are trying to find out what she's about.
