    I have to. It has been into SBN a number of times. But it has no problem getting in. From what I see nothing is done to help short fields. No winglets, or raked tips and there is only so much you can to with a CF6. It's just taking off light. No cargo in the belly, light on fuel. You don't need 200,000lbs when your only flying for a few hours. That right there will make a 747 hop off the ground pretty fast. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

    What is done or been modified for shortfields? I don't think anything special can be done that is not obvious. If they need a short field takeoff, I think they would just go with a light fuel load is about all they could do. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

    I just got back into it last week after 18 months off. I was burned out with so much stuff I just needed to clear the schedule a bit and take some time off. It's not that hard to get back into it. Just do your thing and go back when your ready. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

    I have learned what the FAA SHOULD and ACTUALLY do are two different things. You can demand they do something and if they don't feel like it, well your screwed. Just ask Bob Hoover on that point. I am wondering what you want or need with such data? Are just trying to figure out how many strikes a year there are or what? Seems people never really paid attention to this until US Air splashed down in the Hudson. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

    This crash was a combo of distraction by phone and being drunk. I am sure plenty of people have been killed by falling asleep at the wheel. Both are unacceptable in my book. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

    I dont know about being less bad. Both are pretty dangerous and have been the cause of many deaths. I dont know how you could prove that a driver fell asleep at the wheel. That might be more difficult that someone who is drunk. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

    I wish this was the law when I lived out in Colorado. I had a CCW but everytime I went to purchase I had to do the tap dance. Such a pain in the ass. This make sense and I am happy it passed. I just hope to move back there sometime soon. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

    DENVER (AP) - The Colorado Senate has backed a bill waiving additional background checks for some gun owners. The Senate passed House Bill 1180 on a 22-13 vote Friday. It now heads back to the House, which passed its own version earlier. The Senate version would exempt people with concealed weapons permits from background checks each time they buy a weapon. Those permit holders undergo background checks before they can get a permit. Senators agreed to change the bill to require the state to come up with a tamperproof permit card to be used across Colorado. Permit holders would also have to show another form of identification when buying a gun. *** A new gun rule that makes sense. I cannot believe they passed this. Way to go Colorado!
