I haven't had sex with any of them. Depending on how you define sex, that is. And dammit, doing a greenie was one of my life goals.

If you haven't read them yet - Isaac Asimov, specifically the Foundation series. Philip Jose Farmer, specifically the Riverworld series. Piers Anthony, specifically the Incarnations of Immortality series. Malcolm Gladwell. All of his books are good, but I thought Blink and Outliers were excellent.

On the container? IIRC it should be on the data panel, which is usually located under the top reserve flap.

Go for a carriage ride. Seriously. Jack and Lynn took me on two of them there and it was so much fun! The first time we ended up getting soaked in a thunderstorm, the second time Molly got to go with us. Both drivers were awesome, funny and full of info. Well worth it, and I'm cheap.

That's why you never say you were injured while skydiving. You say you were injured while landing. The looks you'll get are priceless. Besides, who, other than the dzo, tandem ride operator and USPA, really cares if they decide to do a tandem ride or not?

What Dave said, but be sure to get the controllers that have the new motion accessory thing. You'll need them for some of the newer games (Wii Sports Resort for example, which is worth getting - the skydiving is hokey but most the other sports are fun).

I felt the same when I went to a high school reunion a few months ago. It was mostly the same place, with some differences that did not improve it. Not only did I feel like I didn't belong there, I started to wonder if I had EVER belonged there. The one good thing was that I can say that I've changed for the better since I first left that place. Can't say the same for the place.

Will a 190 Sabre 2/Saffire or Pilot 188 fit in an Icon I5?

Depends. Where do you live/jump? Weather (specifically humidity) matters. Will you be packing it? Do you enjoy stuffing 190 square feet of slippery shit into a space designed to hold 170 square feet of slippery shit? Are you okay with your rig looking like shit when it's packed? Are you okay with the very good possibility of permanently deforming the plastic stiffeners in the main flaps and/or stretching the main flaps? Not to mention the fact that hating packing an overstuffed rig can cause some folks to decide that is a great reason to downsize. It isn't. Are you confident you can land that on your next jump, at sunset, off the dz? But really, none of that matters. It's super important to get the smallest rig possible, cuz there's no way you'll ever be able to sell a container sized for a 190 square foot main... -
I'd rather you not risk losing altitude awareness because you were trying to save me. But if you do manage to catch and stabilize me enough to pull anything, please pull whichever handle is closest to you.

If those who post here were the entire skydiving community, you'd have a good point. But we're not. We're just the ones with loud keyboards and too much time on our hands.

There are a few easy explanations for why women would rather shop than have sex. Shopping can be done with more than one friend. Adding additional friends to sex can get messy, in more ways than one. Shopping can be done alone and in public. While sex with ourselves is sex with someone who loves us, it's way more fun to shop by yourself than it is to masturbate. Shopping can be done 24/7, and if done right isn't all that physically tiring. After five or six hours of sex, most women start getting tired and sore. Not to mention the whole not being able to sit or walk the next day thing. Shopping gets us more sex. You did like that expensive lingerie she found at 50% off, didn't you? You said you did when you ripped it off her.

Little League baseball coaches can teach hitting and catching and pitching. Does that make them teachers? Or are they coaches? If there is a serious lack in the amount of pedagogical training that USPA coaches are receiving, wouldn't it be neato if some jumpers with experience in education who think that a lack exists stepped up and offered to make the program better?

I found the answer to my question! It was right there in the September Parachutist! If you do AFF without a rating and you get caught, your "punishment" is that you are allowed to go get ratings. What an elegant solution! And so very logical, too. I mean, don't all of us want the guy who loudly and proudly flaunted the rules teaching our kids to skydive?
