i didnt tell him to go out and buy a 170! i suggested to him to get down to a 170,when ever hes ready.i by no way would give advice or encourage people to do any thing to get them selves hurt!as for spoken like a true freeflyer you know where to stick that.viking bro jump what you feel comfortable with.
-
you shouldnt have a problem.but it may be difficult to get a 190 in a bag or container for a 170.what you could try is getting down to a 170 first then buy your gear.and talk to your rigger he or she will be able to tell you more about it and give you relly good tips on what to do.
-
you can ask your rigger.thats what id do

does anybody know how the crossfire 2 compairs to the first cross fire.ie diving charistics i know the original likes to flattn out quickly right after diving.does the crossfire 2 do that or will it stay in a dive longer..thanks freaky

couldnt do what? the cannon rebel is one of the best cameras to use for skydiving.it takes excelent pics and is light weight and very durable.
-
i agree unless you are changing altitude alot going home you may want to just leave it on and let its self turn off youll save battery life that way
-
from what ive been told a digtial is a little slower but the advantages out weigh that.just make sure you do some more research on the before buying one you want to get one that suits you.cannon makes one that resembles a rebel it is a little heaver than a rebel but a very good camera with alot of optoins.and takes excelent pics.check these ones out taken by a buddy of mine with one
-
i jump with a cannon rebel it is a really good camera are you interested in digital its more costly up front but you will save alot on film and can pic and choose wich pics you want or dont want insted of wasteing a whole roll of film
