  1. i have a voodoo and love it fits great, and packs up nicely also.and is freefly friendly cons thay have been getting a bad rap lately in some forums but i love mine.
  2. i have a cobalt and its not about being able to deploy at higher speeds.atair recomends you deploy at higher speeds.as a matter of fact the info i got when i bought the canopy stated you should deploy in a track, and not in a stable arched possition.even still there are alot of problems with there openings.as for a two staged opening it is in my opinion it`s just a nice snivel, when you can get one.other than the openings it is a pretty nice canopy.
  3. sweet youll love it but dont forget that with that lens youll need to get close i mean right in there in the jump or youll look like your far away.have fun and play around with it youll find your special slot.
  4. oh i thought it was the pointing with the look.. and the person flipping you the bird...
  5. not mine i had a couple that almost sent me to the doctor.
  6. if you read the material atair sent you your suposed to dump in a slight track.as for the openings cobalts are very inconcestant
  7. what is a cut in back strap? like the mirage.
  8. the canopys are basicaly the same but for some reason the cobalt has extremely inconsistant openings.and not in a good way
  9. your asking a pretty braud question.first off alphas are hard to find so if you like them its relly what you are willing to pay as for the value of them ill give you my opion based off the spaces ive purchased in the past, one with around 200 jumps id pay 500 to 700.depending on condition of canopy and lines, over 300 jumps id pay no more than 500.because the canopy is only worth something to people who love those canopys, and most either have less than 100 jumps or 800+.these are just my opinons and info ive gathered searching for these canopys.
  10. come on where are the pics.some one at elsinore had one there yesterday but i didnt get to see it.
  11. the cobalt openings are the hardest openings ive ever experanced!harder than the saber i used to fly and that spanked me on a regular basis.so i had to send it back for testing and all i got from atair was atuitude's and excuses for why it was taking so long and why they never responded to my phone call's or emails.it is in my opinion and my recomendation that no body buy or demo a cobalt.
  12. for a good price and a good halmet try a avaitor,i had one and loved it.if you have the cash and want whats in and flashey try a bonehead mind warp.
  13. i demoed a sam.120 and didnt care for that style of canopy, espacaly the openings.but i will give it to brian the cust service was outstanding!!!the weekend i had it the weather sucked so i only got 3 jumps on it.when i told him of this he said to keep it another week..i thought that was cool and they are a great company.
  14. i have a cobalt that i bought last nov.and have had nothing but problems with.from the canopy to the cust. service.ill never buy a cobalt agian!!!!!by the way if ant body wants to buy a cobalt ive got a brand new one for sale!!!!
  15. my understanding is eclipse rigs arnt made any more.
  16. does any one know how well a vengeance opens and will it swoop.compared to a cross fire2?

  18. bone head makes a great product, also so does avaitator, ive had both and loved them.
  19. i went looking else where for these batteries also, and had no luck but what i did find out is they are a comercial batterie.they last longer than most reg batteries.
  20. i have a pro track and love it.both the computer and company that manufactures them.they are a little pricy but whan you have a problem or question about them l-and-b are the best co. to deal with they rock!!!! so spend the money and get a pro track.
  21. i have a crossfire 1 119,and seldom is there a on heading opening with mine.i think its just the charistics of the canopy.as long as you arnt getting line twists and are aware of this it shouldnt be much of a problem.if it is contact icarus and see what they say.they have relly good cust service in my opinion, compared to some other companys.
