Oh Steve, you know me. I would have said something to the guy. It doesn't matter that the older lady was late, just because she is older, I would have let her in. I was recently at my auto mechanics shop having some work done. I was waiting in the waiting area, when this other customer comes in and starts yelling at the guy who owns the shop, Kevin. Kevin is the most honest guy I've ever meet, and he is the only one that touches my car. Anyway, this customer starts yelling at Kevin, saying how he got ripped off......that the part on the car wasn't broken......Kevin is being really calm, explains to the guy that because the part is..............I just couldn't stand it any more. This customer had no idea who I was, and it offended me the language he was using and how rude he was being to Kevin. I stood up, with my son watching, walked over to the guy and told him that he had no right to talk to any person that way. How dare him accuse Kevin of being dishonest, and if he would shut his mouth for about a minute, he'd learn what was going on with his car. The guy left in a huff, and Kevin now gives me discounts on all my work.

Bill, Do you think it is wise to encourage people to jump the gear from 20 years ago. Most do not have the understanding and knowledge that you have amassed during your jumping career. Hell, I would bet most people do not know what you mean when you say "twill". With the availability of the better and safer designs, to jump old gear just seems foolish. jmo. The one I am jumping in the pictures was meant for the civilian market but that fell through. The placed a bunch of them in service aboard Navy A/C as aircrew rigs but have sense pull them off the planes. The other two versions, E2-C and P3 Orion, have yet to be certified. The aircrew/civilian system opens via a ripcord, left side. The other 2 versions have a drouge, deployed manually and an AAD activated canopy deployment at 14,000. The is a manual override on this.
