11/22/1963 – Working in the stock room of Sage’s Baseline, a grocery store in my home town. 1/28/86 - Working Fire St. #8, watching the launch on T.V. It got real quiet and no one said anything for about 30 minutes. 9/11/2000 – I was still in bed when the phone rang. It was a friend of mine calling from NY. He was a Firefighter and was driving to his station on a city wide recall. Turned the T.V. on and just a few minutes later saw the second plane.hit. My friend died that day in the Tower 2. The inside is a hydraulic nightmare and it ends up all over your rig. Of course you could always get the C-123 that Jim Blumenthal has at Kingman AZ. It even has the jet engines installed. On impact a body at terminal will leave a “crater” even in hard ground. I have seen them as deep as 6/7 inches. The body will usually bounce about 4 feet in the air and come to rest outside of the “crater”. Sparky My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

I made a demo jump into Cable AP from a Blanik L-13 Glider. We made a formation load out of it. The tow plane was a Wilga, when we cut loose it came around on our left and we able to get a 4 way out of it. Jerry, you are right. Handbury used a rip cord made with Kevlar. The pin would act like a ripcord stop and not allow the ripcord to clear the channel. 49 people, all flying one plane each. Spacing is done just by looking at the aircraft around you and making SMALL adjustments. Largest I have done is 4 planes. But that didn’t count because you were still in transient parking. Sparky If you say so: Nice work my man.
