    Same as jumping out of a plane in the first place really, with your attitude I am surprised you condone jumping at all. One signature allowing it and you will be all for it.... Why is it that anyone, be it a Government, a country or just an individual, that disagrees with your idea of what is right is always wrong?     RW can be done safely with a tandem. This a picture of a 35 built around a tandem for “Jump for the Cause” to support spinal cord research. The load was handpicked and well practiced.     Temporal Distortion is not something you learn or remember from a prior experience. It is a response to high stress situation. It seems to be caused by the narrowing of attention that occurs during a stressful or threatening situation. This produces the sensation that time slows down during an emergency creating the perception that you have more time to correct problem then you do. The effects can be reduced or eliminated by not fixating on one task and checking the overall situation. For skydivers this usually means they may fixate so much on trying to clear a malfunction that they fail to hear their audible and do not pick up the visual cues as to their altitude.     One of the problems as I see it is that the tests do not take into consideration the variety of containers the canopy may be packed into in the real world. The tests are not even required to be done with a TSO’d container/harness. When testing a container/harness there is no requirement to use a TSO’d canopy or define max. pack volume of the tested item.
