    If you have to ask, it's probably too windy or gusty. If the old timer with more years in the sport than your age, is chilling on the ground... If, under canopy, you couldn't drive a pin up your asshole with a sledge hammer, then yes, you're in over your head.     Nick, We buried my Dad over 15 years ago. My Mom passed this year on May 31st. I know that your heart is heavy. I'm so glad you and "Pops" had a good relationship. Neither of my parents suffered. The evening before my Dad died I was helping him into bed, when I asked him if we should call an ambulance for him, he just replied that he was very tired and just wanted to go to sleep. He passed peacefully early the next morning. You can't ask for a better way to go. Not to turn this into a religious thread, but I live in the comfort that we will all see each other again.     Look a little closer at the photo Gary. You can see the lines from the risers are going up to a common point just out of frame (at least one rubber band held) and then a group of lines comes down (to the canopy) slightly to the left of the "upgoing" lines. It also appears the drogue is collapsed at this point.
