Mostly for the taste, however the beers I like to drink typically have a higher alcohol content than most. For a beer to have a lot of flavor it typically is made with quite a bit of grains, more grains generally means more alcohol content. Most of my favorite beers have a minimum ABV of 6.5%, they go as high as 23%. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

I'm curious what active members of the BASE community consider to be a lot of jumps. Why? I think you kind of missed the point. The guy cooled his beer, built a small jet engine, and most importantly he had FUN. When the weather is warm I usually make between 10 and 15 jumps a weekend with an occasional 5 or 6 jumps on a Wesnesday as well. When the weather is cold like it is now I don't jump at all. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

I'm curious, how many BASE jumps is considered a lot of BASE jumps? At what point do you feel that most BASE jumpers are experienced enough to leave their mentor and jump and their own? I think that mom should sue dad and dad should sue mom, after all, it's likely that that's the real source of the problem. Agreed. Not everyone, but certainly a lot. Yet another example of people not wanting to take responsibility for their actions. Considering the number of people who have dynamically assigned IP addresses (dialup, and occasionally cable and DSL) this just isn't a good solution. HH (or anyone else for that matter) would be required to block an entire range of addresses to keep one individual out. Blocking a single address won't work, blocking a range of addresses just sucks. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

You know this how? Do you have lots of experience landing canopies loaded at greater than 2:1 on rear risers? It's easy to be the Monday morning quarterback, but until you're faced with the decision of weather or not to land an extremely loaded canopy under less than ideal conditions you can't really speculate as to what is and isn't easy. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends.
