  1. Nice to see that we agree on something. Saddam will not be disarmed without force, however France has said that it will veto any resolution calling for the use of force. How do you propose that we get around this? Little more than the village idiot? You have information that he doesn't? Must be nice. You've said more than once that Bush isn't handling this affair properly yet I've never seen you offer a solution. Here's your chance Richard, what's your solution? - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
  2. All that _and_ you get to pay a small fortune to have a Jav? What a deal! - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
  3. That may very be the slowest Otter on the planet. Good thing it's got padded seats. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

  6. Or the noise from the engine. I realize that things like this do happen, duh, but it boggles the mind trying to think about how someone can miss all the obvious clues. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
  7. I've got some questions about the Wings, hopefully someone here can answer them. What's the difference between the 'Standard' and 'Deluxe' stainless options? I've seen people talk in this thread about the Wings EXT. What is it? I don't see anything about it on their website. What about the cut in straps, similar to the new Javs, I don't see anything about that on the website either. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
  8. Did he tell you why? I'd love to hear the explanation. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

  10. This was posted (presumably) by Grant Carrol on the Freefall.com message board. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
  11. Interesting, in an earlier post you said "My personal freedom is more important than their lives. " and then you said "when their freedoms imperil mine, mine take precedence. ". So what it is? You'll allow us our freedoms, our right to be free from you? Or do your freedoms take precedence over everyone else? - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
  12. If you won't post the link, I will. Bonsai Kitten Of course it's only fair that we follow up BK with this link. Snopes says it's a joke - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
  13. First, I want to thank you for posting to this thread. You make me laugh. So, your pot is most precious to you? You'll kill to protect your pot? I just want to be sure I understand you. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
  14. Wuss. This thing didn't tell me anything I didn't already know. 215. I'm going straight to hell. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
  15. Would it? My understanding is that lift is generated from the top of the wing, not the bottom. Granted an F111 top skin would make a significant difference, but I'm thinking that on the bottom skin it won't matter at all. I'd love for someone with more understanding of modern canopies and aerodynamics to chime in here. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
  16. Not everywhere. For example, it's perfectly legal for women to be topless in Columbus, OH. Sometimes I miss Columbus. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

  20. Nice Bill, except that the original resolution said "serious consequences" if he didn't comply. You're a reasonable person, I'm a reasonable person, I have to assume that at least somebody on the UNSC is reasonable. What would a reasonable man be likely to think are 'serious consequences'? In the arena of interenational politics and the situation that brought about the original resolution I have to assume that serious consequences means war, not another resolution, followed by another resolution, followed by yet another.... The ideal time to act was YEARS ago, we can't do that, but we do need to act NOW. BTW: I've noticed that instead of speaking about the topic at hand you prefer to simplify things with analogies, in this case the drug reference. Is that because you don't believe that people understand the conversation or issues without your simplification, or is it because things seem a bit more ridiculous (but in your favor) when stated this way? - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. 22. You're kidding right? 4 a week? Speculation is that he can and is building them faster than that. No matter what, I'm certain that they can be destroyed quicker than that. The missles he destroys are nothing more than a show for the world. If he were serious they'd all be gone by now. What do we do if France or Russia absolutely will not allow such a resolution to pass? Chirac said today that he would veto the most recent resolution. What do we do if France vetos the next resolution and the one after that? - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

  24. Terrorism vs. legitimate military targets. The Seras tower is by no means a legitimate military target. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
  25. Are you serious Bill? Are you suggesting that should the Sears Tower come down that it's somehow our fault? Should such a thing happen then the blame goes where it belongs, to the individual or group that plotted and carried out the mission. To suggest that we are to blame, even a little, for terrorism on our soil is a little out of touch I think. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
