Actually....JP brought a whole case of beer that he said he was -not- taking home with him tomorrow....and so the group disappeared toward this tent after we all left Baskin Robbins. Hey, after the sunset load we all went out to eat at Sizzler, then concluded the fun with ice cream at Baskin Robbins! Where were -you-?!! JP fractured the cuboid tarsal bone of the foot. Thanks for this finding! However, does the 19 have video and audio 'in' capabilities (like from VCR (analog) to camera tape (digital) )? My little ol' DCR-TRV8 can do this, but when I looked at the 19 it listed only 'out' capability. ltdiver That I do not know but the inputs that I did see were firewire, S-video, LANC, AUDIO/Video and USB. Without cracking the owners manual I have no clue if the Audio/video has an "in" capability. If anybody has bought a 19, could you please answer this question for us.

Thanks for all your input here this week, friends! I finally went and did it. Signed the papers last night and they delivered her today. Washed and shiney and wow is she beautiful! Had to keep reminding myself to keep below 90 mph on the way home (breaking her in and all, ya know ). For those of you who'll be at the dz.com boogie, you'll get the first glance. And the secret will be out. "Which one made it across the line" . It's been an interesting journey...testing new machines and seeing salesman after saleman's crestfallen face as I walked away. Saw the eclipse here in So. CA as well! I called my parents up in WA right as it was climaxing but they reported that it was RAINING up there! Bummer! I've seen a half dozen RX8s on the street now. Are they in limited release? Occasionally I see cars with manufacturer plates that are magazine testers, but I noticed one had Cali plates and the others had dealer plates. As an aside, I saw two heavily disguised 2005 Mustangs the other day. REALLY??!!! I was going to keep my '98 Mustang GT until the 2005 came out, then trade it in. Man, if they're roaming the streets now as Halloween drag I gotta get a first hand look at one of them.
