I thought Olav ran the freefly school at Skydive America Palm Beach, but most major DZs have a freefly school. Good luck learning freefly! Will.

Hi everybody! As I started training freeflying this year I read more and more of olav zipser and his freefly school. Could anyone of you tell me more of the freefly school - where are the locations, where can I learn this or moreover meet Olav or get in contact with him or one of the teachers?? Please help! Kisses, Barbara

Used to be the word "Gay" meant Happy.I think it changed. So answer me this. How can anybody be happy with a big dick stuck up their butt?
-
Good Job Pammi and Merrick!!!! Feel lucky you got yours. Because here in January of next year there will be no more A License numbers given....So I have been told by more than one connection. -Nums

Actual job-related complaint heard today: "Yeah, I only stayed with that agency a few days. All I was doing was fucking all day." You can guess her profession.

I am all for equality and freedom from oppression for one's lifestyle/sexual preferences, and all that jazz. I can even tolerate gay PDA. But when/if I, an obviously bona fide hetero, am approached by a gay guy who wants nothing more than to drop his dick in my bum, I tend to get a little offended and introverted. Have fun, be merry, do whatever floats your boat, just don't go off imposing your opinions upon others. My reality is exactly that, MINE, and I'm sure it differs greatly from most in here. The idea of all gays being molestors is such bullshit. In fact, I would be willing to bet that the majority of molestation cases originate from sickos who are straight. Straight or gay, it is an apalling crime. At any rate, the reason I'm responding to this debate is in reference to the middle-class/ affluent lifestyle that skydivers are purported to lead. I myself am a college student who throws every nickle I EARN into flight training and skydiving. I do own my own rig, but I also will be paying for it for the next two years.......aren't student loans great? What I'm trying to say is that I, along with most people that I jump with aren't rich, just extremely dedicated to a sport they love with such a passion that most whuffos can't fathom. Isn't that what it's really all about anyway......love for the sport, not politics. I get enought of that during the week at work and from the tube; frankly, it's the last thing on my mind when at the dz.

Yeah...I'm doing it at Cross Keys. The AFP program is 3 tandems then 7 with 1 instructor dives. They have a coaching program after that, but I haven't gotten the details on what that covers yet. Their site is www.freefalladventures.com and the specifics on their AFP are at http://www.freefalladventures.com/training/7levels.htm

i'm trying to find some skydiving videos, particularly some with a lot of swooping footage, but i'm having a hard time finding some. what are some good videos out there, and where is a possible place i could rent some? do you have to find specialty shops? i've checked blockbuster's "miscellaneous" section, and a few other sporting goods places around town (i live in memphis, tn), but nothing's turned up yet.....any help would be great!

I want to do my own thing. I need to do my own thing. I like to do my own thing. Nobody else wants to do my thing. Would anyone want to do their own thing with me? I have a thing. I have a large thing. It is a so cool thing. Come watch me do my thing.

I am lesbian and find your comments very hurtful, rude and ignorant. Lesbinas need to be treate the same as other poeple, whether skydiving or not. Why is it also that male skydivers always ask if they can 'watch' lesbians making love. I love my partner very much and we are not some sort of freak show for men why can't you understand that???!!! sorry but I am not putting my name down hear because I don't want everyone to know that i amlesbina. Thank you

After some years without a turbine jumpship New Zealand skydivers now have no less than SEVEN to choose from - a Pilatus Porter in Mercer (south of Auckland), a Nomad, Cresco and two Fletchers in Taupo, and another Cresco in Queenstown (for those unfamiliar with the type, a Cresco is a converted agplane, and the Fletcher is a slightly smaller version of the same) Faced with this bounty a bunch of Wellington Skydivers journeyed north, firstly to the backpacker haven of Taupo where we froze our arses off in the Nomad, -22 degrees at 15,000 feet! (for only $NZ35) Then (after our hangovers had subsided) we travelled further north to Mercer, to rhapsodise upon the ugly beauty of the Porter. Brilliant jumpship - only $NZ30 to 12,000. Certainly makes returning to the humbler delights of our C182 a little harder to bear...bugger!

Hey y'all. I'm gonna be in PHX next week and am planning on heading down to Eloy on Thursday morning. Are any of you in that area. We could do some small dz.com small ways. If ya are gonna be around let me know and we'll hook up. I just know it's gonna be hot as hell, but what the hell, it's Eloy baby, yeah. Blues Krishan C-31555 oh yeah, I just got my C license. :-)

I went through AFF there last summer. It's a great bunch of people with some of the best teachers in the area (Ronco and Kris Bagwell) SDI has more of a small drop zone feel than Skydive Chicago. Don't know about Hinkley.

I hate my job. It has nothing at all to do with jumping Only two more days and I get to do some night jumps I wonder what idiot thought this crap up? I bet Tomb Raider will be a cool flick. Only two more days and I get to do night jumps I wish I lived closer to the DZ. I HATE computers

imagine the drive in the back of the pick-up truck to a luanch site. clearing all the catcus and twigs, you lay out the hot-air balloon, and wait patiently for it to swallow enough air as it rises up and off the earth, jumping in as the basket leaves the dust, and the sun approaches the mountains, you find yourself fidgeting in the small space with the pilot and 2 other jumpers... slowly the air brings your glorious ship hundreds to thousands of feet about the desert, you crouch in the basket and hang over the size to keep your hair out of the flames. And the static blast of noise firing the hot air struggles to balance with the peacefulness and silence of the ride. the further you see off the less you see below you and you reach your destination altitude in sweat union with floating above the landing zone. the time is now, you brace yourself as the first jumper frees himself of the balloon and races into a speck of visibility near the ground until you see the beautiful red canopy open like a fluff of a tissue, and you feel the air compression in your eardrums as the balloon counteracts and rises without the wiehgt... you wait until you start sinking once again as the second jumper falls. You watch the body blend into the bushes on the ground, and just when you think she passed out and there's no time, her chute pops open and she turns towards the runway... your turn. checking your handles, you climb backwards onto the ledge of the basket staring into the torch, and you launch without looking, backfliping off and kicking the basket away from you, you feel the nothingness, no wind, no resistance, just freedom as the air increases velocity over your naked body and you have no idea where you are relative to the ground. checking your altimeter every 300 ft, just a little longer, just a little closer, the cacti get big and you know, pull, all opens well, and you scream with excitement, you are flying naked in the sky on a beautiful sunset in the desert, this is freedom, so you have the nerve to land and present yourself next to the hanger, cuase you don't care about the spectators, your hands are shaking and your eyes are watering, and all you're wearing is shoes... Nice landing.
