So what exactly does a council member do then? From reading the minutes in the mag it seems to me like all the important stuff is decided by STC, and then the council just agree with it, (except in a recent event) everything else is just crap to make you all think the BPA is a democracy. Not that i am anti BPA i quite like some of the old gits.

Jumper was filming a 5 way RW jump and on deployment the pilot chute when between the gap in the camera wing and his body. He then tried to use his hook knife to cut the trailing PC. He died when he failed to get a canopy out.

This is for the North Carolina people who have been coming down to South Carolina and jumping objects in the daylight, thereby heating them up and endangering their use for others. It is especially for those who have been jumping the 300 foot freestander lately discussed here. There are SC locals who have been jumping that tower for years now, and who live within 20 miles of it here in SC. Never heard of us? Thats because we jump only at night to help make sure the tower will continue to be available for jumping. WE jump it after 10pm in winter, 11pm in summer. Your jumping it in daylight goes against all BASE ethics I have known. What you are doing is not right. Those of us who are local ask you to stop jumping here in daylight hours. If you want to jump at night, then you are welcome.

As a footnote, I'm years and at LEAST a thousand jumps off being a pro but (at the moment anyway) that's the dream - move to some big US DZ and become their tandem bitch. I think I'll be happy when that day arrives. Quote yes u r going to do that. and year after u will find me there -

hi there its /\/\u$tafa here from Inida. i am passionate mad about this sport. i was seriously thinking of doing my diploma from Christchurch. i will be taking whole cost of cource from loan. its the biggest risk i m taking. just tell me howz the school in terms of future prospects in this sport. i have seen ur review about Christchurch DZ and i am convinced by the training facility. also do u get enough time while doing the cource for some part time job. cause i am a mechanical engineer and i think i can easily find some job out there which can hlp me for living there. please help me out to take the decision. please be very realistic cause its a decision of my life bye /\/\u$tafa

When I attempt to register for the site and fill out each field, I get the following error when I click on the "Agree" button: COL_DISPLAY_USER_ID_GFORUM must not be left blank. i am an indian and plannig to do my diploma in skydiving. As the cost of the cource is very high in terms of indian currency i will be taking a loan. just i wanted to know weather it is worth doing that or not. any body who has done the cource i would like to know his/her experience also -

I have seen th eidea for a map with points for finding a DZ... But how about a search by zip code? You enter the zip where you will be and the search returns a list of links in order of distance from the zip. switchboard.com has a feature like this.

I have obviously registered. When I am asked for my user name and password, I insert them. I am then welcomed, but I am unable to manage my account. I can not access my profile.... Why?
