I am a bmg owner several times over living in california and I wasnt aware they were banned. I knew the semi auto's were banned in the .50 bmg but it was still possible to purchase a single shot. As a matter of fact, just last week I was in one of my gun shops I deal with picking up a keg of powder and there were several on the shelf for sale. I also know that factory and milsurp ammo is still being sold for these rifles as I just bought 500 rounds of milsurp. Is my gunshop selling illegally? I just pulled off an 18 hour shift friday, a 20 hour shift saturday and another 20 hours shift that i just ended this morning at 11:00. I have to deal with 3 employees that can barely tie there shoes, havent showered in at leats a week, and one ex employee who was released last week and continues to harrass me about his job. What do you guys think about the shooting in Seattle at the party? The gunman comes in equipped with 3 guns and a baseball bat and opens fire on some partygoers. Eyewitness's said that during the shooting as people were running, he said "dont worry theres enough here for everyone. When confronted outside by the police he turned the gun on himself and took his own life. Its instances like this that just feed the anti-gun community and really hurt the gun owning law abiding citizens. Its a shame really that these things happen and a tragedy to the familys that lost there loved ones. So much lost over one idiot, and so much more to lose by others just like him. It wasnt uncommon to witness a duel outside a saloon. Fighting was the norm when a problem occured between people who had differences. People were hung at high noon for what was considered murder, or cattle theft. This wasnt some hollywood made up story that we watch on television. This was an everyday occurance back in the day all over the nation. The most remeberable thing that my grandfather ever told me was when there was a problem with people it was always taken care of. That was the end of it. People went on about there daily lives afterwards and there was never a second thought about it.
