Well the way I see it is, if I was going to go to the Aggie fundraiser (which I was never planning on doing) it wouldn't matter what any other DZ is doing I would be going to do that. Just like the people who are going down to spaceland to jump out of the new otter don't give a rats ass what SDH or the aggies have going on. Trust me if someone was going to do the Aggie thing, they aren't going to suddenly go..."Oh my God!! $12 jumps forget the pops vs pup" No they are going to say "Damn it why couldn't they have done $12 jumps another weekend cause I'm going to the aggie thing."

Hey Tiff great news I have a main for my spare rig so if you got current lastweekend you could come out to SDH for some cheap jumps and not have to worry about rig rental.

I bought my first rig used around jump 8 or 9, and was jumping it by jump 11. Kept it except for the main until I had over 200 jumps when I bought my new mirage. Current rig I figure I'll be jumping until it falls apart, but that is only cause I'm tiny and am already jumping one of the smallest rigs on the market.

Hey sis you know you are more than welcom at my place although it is on the north side of house and spaceland is about an hour south (70), unless you obey the speedlimit then it's probably more like 1 1/2 (55). Of course this does mean you and the hunny would be on the air matress in the living room.

Here is how my colors came about. I originally bought a used Reflex that was electric blue, purple, with lemon pin stripes. Used RW suit black with pink and purple grippers, and a pink protec. So when I bought my custom Hawk RW suit @ 100 jumps I wanted something purple blue and yellow to match my rig...well the purple wasn't even close so I ended up getting a jumpsuit that was royal blue booties, butt and outside nylon with yellow spandex on the sides forarms and back of the grippers, the front of the grippers is tydied electric blue/royal blue. www.hawksuits.com My original FF suit is purple and black, but my fall rate is to slow in it. Then I bought my custom crossfire and since I had the royal blue and yellow thing going, I got one that was yellow with royal blue ribs. Anyway since the canopy was to small for the container I ordered my mirage that was royal blue, blackberry with lemon trim tape and binding, I ment to order yellow, but the picture of yellow looked to gold...oops should have got the yellow. I'm the one on the bottom right in the attached picture. I just made myself some sweet freefly pants with the help of a certain cutie-pie rigger who did the sewing that matches my mirage perfectly. I'll get pics up of them as soon as I remember to bring the camera to the DZ again.

Well one reason I'm almost positive they don't use ellipticals is the opening characteristics. I think students opening unstable or slightly unstable or with just a shoulder dropped is more of the norm than not. I'm sure the more forgiving nature of the square in line twist alone makes it a better choice for students. I haven't had line twists on a semi-elliptical so I can't comment on them, but having had them on an elliptical even at a light wingloading it wasn't a docile ride.
