    Hi all, The BIRDMAN Factory Skyflying team - Top Gun, will be holding the first of many wingsuit weekends in the UK, the first being at Target Skysports at Hibaldstow on the 19/20th May. We'll be offering first flight courses for free, coaching and load organising. Whatever your skill level, we can cater for you. From your first flight, to advanced acrobatics and formations, we'll work with you to safely improve your skills and get you on some kick ass flocks.     Flying with clogs allows you to increase the laminar airflow over the surface of the wings thus creating a much higher glide ratio. Its hard at first, but as more people realise the benefits, i think you'll see a lot more serious wingsuit pilots flying in clogs. Also, due to their sturdy construction, they make an ideal location to mount a GPS antanae too. Hope that helps

    Before Jarno chimes in with 'come to europe', in the UK, there's probably at least on wingsuit pilot now at almost every DZ. If you're looking for the most though, at Skydive Sibson in Peterborough we have biggest regular flock with all the UK members of the Bird Man Factory team based here. Theres coaching, FFC's, L/O etc always available, which if you're interested in, shoot me a PM and i'll make sure that one of us is available for you. Failing that, just come on down and join the flock

    Just to throw another 'amusing' spanner in the works... Am i right in thinking that music is Ian Van Dahl (sp)? If so, are the site owners paying the PRS fees (or the equivelant in the US) for the use and broadcast of this music? If they claim it to be a sound a like (which could negate this fee), in this country, it sounds far too like it to get away with not paying.     Fair play, i knew you wouldn't be interested in funding, but that you may want the footage taking down. Having been on the recieving end of Ofcom's regulations on more than one occasion, i know the power they have and what they can have done. Just thought i would share. Awesome jump either way.

    As it has been broadcast through a UK news institution site, it *should* still fall under Ofcom regulations. Have a read through. There are some different interpretations here, but it may be that by broadcasting it they have infringed on your privacy (if they can't deem it newsworthy in the public interest), but not getting a signed rights release from you.
