at 23 jumps it's obviously not right for you to wear something like a Suunto. I myself have just bought a Vector and i love it. Actually cant stop looking at my wrist (sad i know) The reason Suunto have that warning is they dont want to run the risk of a failure and or courtcase. I know a great number of skydivers who use the vector/Suunto other models as primary altis with no problems at all. I guess its all what works for you and your experiance level. I haven't jumped with mine yet, but will, and will continue to jump with a regular alti. Hey all... At only 75 jumps, i know its too early to be donning a suit, but its something i've ALWAYS wanted to do (as in one of the main reasons i got into skydiving). My home DZ (headcorn) is not big on wing suits, in fact, i've only ever seen one there and he's not been back, so i thought you guys might be able to help me out. What can i be doing in my skydives to help me prepare for wingsuit flying? My tracking is pretty good, should i keep working on it? what kind of things should i be doing? should i practice any other kind of deployment? I've read almost eveything on birdman.com, are there any other good sites for information? Are there any good places in the UK for wingsuit flying? are there any good people i could speak to, see if i cant buy them beer to take me under there wing? Sorry for al the questions, and if there is any advice anyone can give me, it will be greatly received.
