Agreed - although I lived on a farm, my family moved to the burbs while I was in school. One bringing a gun to school meant nothing - availibilty was wide open - but we didn't shoot each other.

Marijuana and Skydiving. Good, bad, indifferent?
Luv2Fall replied to BravestDog's topic in The Bonfire

What did you want to be as a kid when you grew up?
Luv2Fall replied to prepheckt's topic in The Bonfire
As a kid, I had always wanted to be a U.S. soldier......drove my dad, a combat vet, crazy. My father cried his eyes out when he found out I had enlisted.....................made a career out of being in the Army. Now that I have retired from the Army, the Eagle visits me monthly. -
Dude - not to sound cold.......here's a fact of life: broken hearts come and go. Let time do its thing.

Bwahahahaa!!! Never know with this crowd.

I would have to agree!

Val - here's some others also. The bottle message and glass eggs have been great hits with my wife and a few others. http://www.russianartsoul.com Here's another.........especially the Faberge type glass eggs......pictures do not do them justice. http://www.russiansouvenirs.com/eggs.htm Here's my favorite...other husbands I have talked to also agree that this is truly a big hit. http://www.timelessmessage.com Sorry about the "clickys".

For those who have neither seen Tom jump nor his jump videos, this man is kicking ass and taking no names.

Hey buddy - Her Name is Ginny - Hybrid Conure - (Blue Crown/Nanday) - she has a reasonable size vocabulary - can also mimick sniffling/sneezing/kissing. She's a sweetheart....will be six years old this year. I have her brother, C.B, who is five years older than she is......who pratically can do everything she does......except he can mimick sqealing tires...he also yells "hello" everytime the phone rings. I also have a male grey Cockatiel and a male Pied Cockatiel. Their names are Ren & Stimpy....stimpy loves to whistle and dance. Also, I have a male Quaker Parrot "Dusty" who can curse just a little - decent vocabulary - loves to dance. Last but not least - a Peach-faced Love Bird "Tuny" short for "Loonie Tunes". Sweet bird who loves to share what you are eating and drink whatever you drink........but I don't let him drink alcohol lol. He loves to take baths in the sink and ride the ceiling fan - manually operated of course lol. Yes, birds are extremely intelligent and can, for the most part, experience the wide range of emotions we experience........did you know that you can make a bird blush? All my birds were hand fed and trained..........very affectionate and do get pissed if you don't spend the time "they" think is neccesary with them. Much of their vocabulary is event assocated is is cool....when they want up in the morning they are yelling "Good Morning!"......when they want to be covered at night to "go to bed" they yell "Nite-Nite - Go Nite - Nite!".......if they want a kiss they say" Give me Kiss!"..........etc. Understand, mine love pasta also.....included with their diets are rice, veggies, fruit, nuts, etc.

Any Spyderco or Benchmade knife owners among the skydivers?
Luv2Fall replied to peacefuljeffrey's topic in The Bonfire
Here's one of my Benchmade knives........along with my other pocket tool. -
Glad I retired before all that shit started........what a shame........I guess the Army, in some ways, is reflective of our society whereby we must "feel good" about ourselves.
-
Here's one of my "babies".
-
I think I understand lol. Why are the green stripes painted on sheep?
-
My absolute favorite are birds...........dogs second.

Like I said, packing isn't a problem..........you just work with the flaring part..............nope, you really can't improve the flare.
-
My limited personal experience as I bought a used F111 canopy - - Easy to pack - Very weak flare........you learn to work with it, but you would be better off with ZP.
