Some day you'll be the person with a bunch of jumps and you'll have a friend with a new A license and you'll find out how much fun it is to jump with them and lead them into all kinds of new skydiving adventures. We all had as much fun as you did, trust me. We're already making plans for next year.

Watched a scared red headed girl, on a static line jump, crawl back in from hanging on the strut. Pretty impressive. I don't know if I could make it back in from there.

Good advice there. I'm a child of the analog age, from clocks to speedometers, altimeters and bathroom scales. I don't understand some people's problem with analog scales, but I know it exists. So get what works for you. But maybe some more practice might overcome this difficulty. Good luck to you.

Make sure your feet and knees aren't too wide. If the legs are spread too wide, it locks the hips in the pelvis and prevents you from getting your hips-forward/legs-back.

Vskydiver and I just spent 5 days in Alaska, hanging out and jumping with our favorite Andreya. I gotta tell you, she is even sweeter and prettier in person than her pictures.

Sounds like an "atmosphere density to gravity" ratio problem. We need the moon's gravity with the Earth's atmosphere. Of course, with the Moon's gravity, the atmosphere would be soon gone. . . so, I guess I'm staying on this planet.

I searched around a little but didn't find anything yet. I know that every generation shakes its collective head at how the world is going to hell in a handbasket. I just can't imagine a group of 50's moms ever doing something like this. I blame reality TV.

How in the world did these women get to be so low? My head is spinning to think they thought what they did was okay. Look how the first two are smirking in their mug shots. Can they really be proud of themselves? And to have the kids join in on the beat down?

Several years ago at the Lost Prairie Boogie my wife and I did the 12.5K hop and pop, cross country sunset load. There were 3 layers of scattered clouds below and around us, all lit up gold, orange, and pink as we sailed back to the DZ. Those glowing clouds and the natural beauty of Montana made it one of the prettiest sunset loads I've done.

Not so fast. That's not a BSR. That would strictly be up to the individual drop zone. Once you have the A license there are zero requirements for returning after a layoff of any length. None. The original poster didn't quite get their A license. I'd be willing to do an in-depth review and go up on a Level 3 or 4.

Great article. In defense of using one hand on each handle, many jumpers have died from not finding the reserve handle after cutting away. I teach and use the method you endorse.
