  2. + he also was the only other one to go dirt water dirt during the attempts. but i dont think they gave it to him, because jay totally ripped the entire pond and then some.
  3. ya, scott got the record second. 610 ft. then jay came through with 619.
  4. i didnt make any jumps last year, i was too busy making sure peeps got checked in, and knew the landing area and pattern they were sopposed to fly, and making sure there gear was good.. looks like mike gruwell from chuting star rigging loft will be on hand for everyone this year if you need any rigging work done. if your a newbie and this is your first boogie, p.m. me so we can get in touch and i will show you around when you arrive.
  5. you guys dont understand. it is $129 all you can jump weekend. it is either 129$ all you can jump, or greg possibly could get the otter and it will be 19-20 a jump. wich way you want it? shit cost money and gas prices are high.
  6. nice job sisco, kaz, you must be very proud. nice job.

  8. tru that. drama sucks. only play with the one you play with.
  9. i will grow a tree so they can hug it instead.
  10. there are lots and lots of idea's. for the most part, peeps flying crossed braced canopies in the cpc, are for the most part, only inhibiting what they could be learning. just get in and compete. it will make you feel REALLY good about yourself when your ahead at the end of the season.
  11. just get with me, and pay your own slot, and we will make an entire skydive out of it. i will bring the vid camera also.
  12. if anyone is interested in "skydiving" get with me this weekend, i will be doing "FREE" coaching for "all" disciplines and load organizing all weekend. want to learn to belly fly better? get with me. freefly? well you got it, get with me. freeflying, swooping, general canopy control, spotting, want to get your aff rating? i can do training jumps or L/O or individual coaching. it is up to you, if you want to learn, the farm is offering it. see ya this weekend.
  13. im sure we can set up a practice weekend in the near future. i will let you know.
  14. you need to get with me if ya want to, ive heard some stuff so bring it. we will have 3 laptops mixed in on a djm 600 now. if you can make it to the farm this weekend me and eric are playing there for a practice session.
  15. get to training mike, the difference between you and me is i know alot of the peeps thinking about competing here next year, you dont. if you dont think you have a chance, train a little and you will be VERY surprized.
  16. i didnt even read your whole post, just this. i will read it later, i already know your missunderstanding me from the conversation we had on the phone. just get out there and do it, you will be surprized on how may of those cross braced canopies out there are not being flown properly. you will amazr yourself with who you do, and dont beat. the cpc is set up for you, so take advantage of it. it is somthing i didnt have and wish i did. mike, you will be surprized at how few crossed braced canopies are in your reigion next year. sometimes you take the lunch money. sometimes you donate. but you always learn.
  17. this is a great idea, only if manufacturers bring out some demo's 10 of them and then mix and match them to wingloads. it is too expensive for everyone to go out and get different canopies. if you want to win "be the best" you have to compete against them. there is no way you can "win" "be the best" if you dont try and compete against them. there is no excuse for someone not wanting to compete except for they realize they dont have the experience "or" they dont want to get beat. you only get beat enough till you really start applying what you learn, and you wont learn if you dont compete. hell, i dont ever practice. i just go to comps to learn. then i stay current by jumping every weekend. sometimes 2-3 times. and sometimes 10 times a weekend. ive heard may many excuses, one of the true ones was. "i might as well just give you my money and not compete, your going to beat me anyway" the peeps that you hear these sort of excusses from are the same one's you will see in last place, because they never tried harder and applyied what they learn at comps. you know, there are quite a few of us that go head to head with pilots like jay mo, shannon, johnathan, hans, t.j. and the list goes on, maybee we all should just quit because they beat us anyways. tell that to paul russouw! he beat them all in chicago, and got 2nd in the world just recently. guess what he beat them all, and he has beaten me more than once, and vice versa. it takes time dedication and money to travel, but it can be done. just start at the begining and work your way up. the begining is the CPC. 500 jumps minimum. if you stay out one more year, you will be one year behind the guy or girl that didnt. and guess what guys, there is already 2 hottie girls with one year jump head start on you, and you better bet your ass they will be back next year. and they defianatly will be better.
  18. really, so does that mean i dont have to be there? i was thinking about taking a flight out somwhere for the weekend. you know, all these emotional problems, its nice to sit on top of a 14,000 ft mountain to think it all out.
  19. hardley, britt. you and cat are awesome. im so glad you guys came out, i know you learned alot. now you have an entire winter, and next season to practice what you learned. i for one, will work with you two as much as possible if we could just close the gap for a weekend or two. im seeing a trip to huston in my future, hopefully you two could come out here also. stay focused, and practice. you will be surprized at whatt you mind will allow you to do. hope to see you girls soon, keep it up. and "go big"
