  2. breathe... it isnt a swiming pool...
  3. ian.. i did a test jumpo with this system. i think it was a sabre 2 98. or somwhere around that size it was definatly a sub 100... anywyas i unstowed a toggle and let it do 3-4 reveloutions before i chopped and the pd 106 opened so fast i didnt even relize i switched canopies..... ok slight exageration.. but it was quick and with not even 1/2 line twist... if i could get this system in my container i would...
  4. hehehe yes my canopy is out of the lake.. and my freebag made it saftly home also along with my handles... no your buying me beer right...lol.... its my choice what i do with it.... your starting to see how this works huh?

  7. benny ... after you check out west tennassee skydiving.. you should really think about making a trip back up there in the summer when the king air is back..... there is some rockin boogies to goto there....
  8. I'm glad I'm from the South. We tend to see things differently. ya really.... that is kind of scary...
  9. So you think you were proficient enough in 7 Jumps? You obviously have not read the whole post. Let me help you out. A person is considered a Student/Novice until they have a license! In case you have not read the U.S.P.A. mandates much of what we do. They currenlty along with the FAA do tell us what we can/can not do. Amazing how all these non instructor and no time in sport individuals know what is right. Half probably do not even own a SIM! Laters, . actually the bsr's are not the law. they are recomendations... there is a large window for you to modify if you see fit...but im sure you already know this..
  10. but you heard what i was singing..!!!.... oh ya... what was that? i forgot.. it was a caravan.... lol..... hindsight is 20/20... like i said... i was just tryin to peak your interest.... i know where and when it gets boring.... just dont give up..... and you will be rewarded... p.s. what does this mean????
  11. well i wasnt talkin about the load you were on.. i was askin about the next load....... i will work with you if you want.... a license... i already offered that..... and well if you want to learn belly... i can belly fly my ass off...... if you want to lear to freefly.. i can help you with that too,.... if yo need to learn a little canopy controll then i can help with that also...... i will let you know when the next time i will be down there.... not this weekend but maybee the weekend after that... we will get you your a license and also we will make you 100% interested in wanting to learn everything about skydiving...
  12. Done ALL of that. In mantis and boxman. I'm not very aggressive, from what I've been told, though. I really need to learn to drive at people when docking and what not. But I don't reach! And I mean, the best I can HOPE FOR is a two-way. Usually I am the ONLY bellyflier on the load, or the more experienced ones aren't too keen on taking me out, b/c they want to jump with their friends. Ok, I'm gonna start working on it, though. Solo freefly, and group RW. Sounds fun to me . . . Kelly kelly kelly kelly..... i believe it was 2 weekends ago. you were doing a two way belly fly with somone and i asked you if you wanted to try a hybrid on the next load....2 way belly. you with a coach and me hanging... and you said no..... i was extreamly hurt... lol... as i was just trying to peak your interest.!
  13. well in all reality i meant that the rig is safe for freeflying. but maybee not safe for a student to freefly in..... i myself would not have a problem with freeflying in our student rigs...
  14. well i dont know the rating of the reserves at that speed..... but your putting yourself at risk at that speed with any reserve.... i jump a pd 106... and although i believe in pd and there products.. i would never subject a reserve deployment to it at that speed..... i wouldnt do that to any reserve at that speed .(on purpose)..... my point is the rig.... there is nothing coming loose from it. our stuudent rigs are just as safe. (or almost as safe) as my personal rig..... why would you have anything else for a student..?
  15. Scotty's says "thats ok Mark I'll give you some man-love when I get back home" EEEEEK EWWWWW Tami ohhhhh my godddd!!!!!! HELP!
  16. We would fly cross-wind often at pahokee. Rule of thumb was north/south or south/north jumpruns. East/West jumpruns would have put us out over the water "cross wind" better idea! One Word "Alligators" hee-hee Tami scotty...!!!!! tammy is kissing me again.... even though the jumprun is cross wind.... for simplicity's sake... i would still want the bell out first..
  17. ya im working on bringing some of the girlies from asc to come down and represent.... and also to give me some love too..!!lol.... me and jerry loch will be dj'n sat night.... should be a good time.... i still have to be formally introduced to mel though....... somone hook me up?.... i need an introduction...
  18. Belief has no impact on Physics. "The race is not always to the swift, nor the battle to the strong. That is, however, the way to bet." If you go against the odds, you are counting a little too much on luck for my liking. Arranging exit order so as to increase the likelihood of a collision is a very bad plan indeed. Blue skies, Winsor yes it is.... very very bad plan as for flying jump run cross wind.... well i would still like the same exit order....... why would you fly jumprun crosswind?.... im sure there is reasons to.. but you would think this would make it more difficult for the pilot to spot useing gps.... then again... you should be spotting for yourself...
  19. Well, first of all we do not recommend that you freefly in student gear for several reasons. Some have been made obvious in the last week or so. Now that you are a soloist, discuss the exit order with the other student solos; based on pull altitude. depends on the drop zone... our drop zone student gear is perfectly safe to freefly in.....
  20. and or running jump run down wind...
  21. i dont think pull alt is really relavent when there are winds... big belly to little belly.. big free to little free.. aff then tandams.. solos would = last of the belly flyers. if they were belly flying and if freeflying then the last of the freeflyers.
  22. ahhhhh brooke... your going to be there also?... its been awhile....
  23. now i have no problem with aff's or tandams or even both leaving behind the freeflyers.... i think the order should go just as hooknswoop said. big belly to small belly.. big free to small free. aff's then tandams....
  24. i see peaple calling this issue an opinion.... i dont think it is an opinion "in my opinion". it is fact. ive had way too many close calls with freeflyers out first. this is also fact!.. i will not jump at a drop zone that puts freefliers out first. just because of the simple fact that i do not want to get killed..
  25. When it was sold I think it went to South America. If I had to guess I would say it made one trip back north and ended up in the water off the east coast. talk about getting oil spots all over your rig when getting in the plane..... geese......but i have a love for that queen air. my first jump was done out of that plane.. i wish i could come to this event but i got to be in sabastion that weekend....
