  2. uhhh... uhhh... uhhhh ... uhhh... hmmmmmm..
  3. 34 jumps with 1 year in the sport and you weigh 175. so your exit weight is close to 200.. i would stick on the 220 till you are more current
  4. Actually the awareness you build is critical. Missy and Rook have substantial knowledge about FF and the most successful progression techniques....I wonder why people don't believe world champions? Blue skies Ian So, you don't think that freeflying helps build good awareness? angela. belly flying is a part of a freeflying.... hence the word free fly. all axes. i think we are off topic though..
  5. whats up... been in the sport for 9 years and only done 4 tandams?.... why so few.... just curious.. anyways.. welcome
  6. happy birthday lisa.. and travis... if yoour going to tickle with your tounge... get a room this time.!!! DAMN!
  7. well i would have been at the roaming d.z.boogie in dublin .... but i had already committed to going to sebastion that weekend.... but it looks like we will be meeting soon.... so prepare yourself!....
  8. katie.. the last weekend in april is perfect.... erin said she was coming back that weekend and i think sharon is also.. and rachal sounds like you should be here then i may be at the casa boogie in monroe so i might meet you then...
  9. wussup rachel... it was nice meeting you this weekeend... next time your out you need to hit me up..... so we can make a couple of jumps...
  10. im sure they will be giving you guys a call sometime at the end of the season or next season... it has already been discussed between some of us...
  11. it is a shuttle right now. once the support grows then we will see what happens.... there is a runway on the farm that an otter could easily get in and out of all day long... but there has to be the support there...
  12. thanks for keeping me warm erin... after i busted my ass in the pond....
  13. you can find the stall point of a canopy without compleatly stalling it.... sorry.. had to say that...
  14. ive never compleatly stalled a canopy.. personnally it scares the hell out of me... i know where the stall point is but have never been past it..... dont see the point in scareing the hell out of myself... im also scared of doing tandems... but that is another story...
  15. I am personally insulted by this nig-noggery. There is NO justification for charging someone a lower price for their jump ticket just because they are a female. Would it be acceptable to say something like $10 jump ticket for someone of one race and $14 ticket for someone of another race? No way! Everyone would agree that is outright racist. In much the same way there is NO excuse for charging a different price for men and women. Women, how would you feel if it was a cheaper ticket for men? Men, how would you feel if it was a cheaper ticket for you? I'm not just upset because it would cost me more. I would still have a problem if it was a cheaper ticket for guys. This sort of double standard only leads to resentment and I am glad my dropzone is not trying something this ridiculous. ABSOLUTELY! I agree 100%. I think that is ridiculous and sexist and I would certainly not support something like that. Angela. ya whatever.... shannon.. you want to borrow a fishing pole?.. ive got one somwhere. but im not touching the fish... so dont even ask....
  16. hahaha.. no corn. it is called the farm because i believe it used to be a farm. it isnt anymore.. now it is a resort.
  17. Thats what I'm talking about... great environment and awesome prices! I still don't know any of you in The Farm but you sure will meet my wife and I soon right on.... cant wait... bring a golf club or two. a bathing suit, fishing pole, rig, tent, ohh ya.... and some beer...
  18. weather you agree or do not agree with the prices the way they are. i think you would be missing an awsome place if you decided not to come here for that.. you cant argue with somones opinion only respect it.
  19. but your picture most definatly must go on the wall...
  20. this coming from a jumper at crosskeys.... you guys rock up there..... if only every d/z had half of the positive vibe you guys have....
  21. i just went by this place today... wow..it is freakin awsome there.... two swoop ponds. lush green grass off the pond into the front of the hanger. camping areas. a beach..... wow i cant wait to see the sand in there...... hehehehe you have got to see this place. there is a huge hanger. they are building massive rooms on the side of the huge hanger for different misc. things.. dave is in the works of designing 3 different permanent swoop areas for a swoop park. next to the two ponds. there is even a place to chip galfballs over the water to a green on the other side... there is huge vast camping areas in an awsome setting.... you can party with the best of them or have a calm relaxed campfire campground area. the property is all private property surrounded by 1000 or more acres of land. ive been to a few drop zones and i have to say this is going to be a resort.... i cant wait to see some of the things that can happen for this place with a little posotive vibe and a few peaple... they were talking about putting sand around the side of the hanger next to the grass and the swoop pond. there is pleanty of space for peeps to lay out on the beach and get a tan. off in the back corner where the said sand may be it an open area where a volyball court in the cand could easily go... alot of this stuff will take money. and that will come from skydivers support of the d/z. it looks as if this dropzone could become the southeast skydivers resort. a heavan in itself.... im exited... cant wait to see some peeps out there.... later... Mark
  22. i believe they are flying a caravan. and also at times a porter. i beleive if peeps come to support on a regular basis the property owner will bring in his otter to fly there full time..
  23. i dont think anyone is arguing this point. it is just how to go about solving it. in my opinion he doesnt need to be jumping that canopy. but i dont think grounding him is going to stop him... so we will look into other ways to get him to stop... although it would help keep the dz clean from blood.... but that is not first priority. priority is to get him under a safe canopy.
  24. well i can see this happening already. not quite to that extent but it is there.... im not here offering a soloution. i just dont like somone telling me what i can and cant do.... but somthing does have to be done. i still stand by the fact that i beleive in self regulation. only the strong survive.
