wow this thread is on fire! I can't believe how many replies there are just from the last time I checked! As for the question Well the answer depends on a number of things. It really doesn't matter too much to me how many riders there are, because within 5 seconds of dropping off my rider, they will in no way be close enough to concern me. But as for the other birdpeople... I am quite comfortable flying very close to people under canopy (hence all the CReW ), but it will depend on who they are, how competent/alert they are under canopy, etc... Obviously wingloadings & pull time will (besides horizontal separation) will play a factor too. I think I'd be fine with a quite large group. Hey now, that's not true for ALL girls... I'm thinking if I were to come home, to find my backpack packed because I'm going to get spontaneously wisked off to a secluded cliff in Norway, camp out in a tent, where I'd find a brand new rig or two on my pillow, would be just great. Very nice... I also did a lot of CReW before I started BASE jumping. I think it is a good way to progress into BASE. Maybe you might want to add something about how it gives you some practice flying & landing 7 cells, as they are quite different from the 9 cells everyone's used too... If you're sending them worldwide, a free & easy service to use is ICQ. It's a messenger service (like yahoo, msn, etc). Takes very little signing up... Well I assume I'll be being a big dork and studying/writing, as I have just started the '20 days of hell'... taking my written exams now & got my oral candidacy exam on the 26th.
