Weather in a bag or not I usually tie a BRIGHT pull up cord around the reserve handle.I figure that will give me time to stop them from pulling it while they are inspecting it.You probably won't have any trouble.The only airport I have trouble at is Portland Me.They don't see very many and the supervisor always uses it as a training time.

Bolingbroke,Ga(Macon) February 17th.This is the offical warmup event for the Dublin Boogie! My birthday is actually Feb 10th but because of chopper availability the date is Feb 17th.You can look for a chopper,live music and a large bonfire,Oh and lots of food and the usual RoamingDZ debauchery. If your planning on jumping here you better start working on you accuracy.My back yard is not for everyone.There is plenty of room to land but you really need to be up on your canopy skills.I will be trying to set up an alternate landing area.Even if you don't plan on jumping I hope many of you will plan to come for the festivities. Chopper jumps will be $35-40.Look for details on RoamingDZ.com.I will be posting hotel info there.I have room at the house for RVs but power will be limited. This will be the first skydiving event in Bolingbroke in over 4 years.This is where the RoamingDZ got it's start. I will have an alternate party place reserved in the event the weather does not cooperate. For those not comfortable landing at the house the chopper will be at Skydive Atlanta on Sunday the 18th.

That's because you rarely get to see a good low pull anymore. People don't know what a Grand Opening really looks like anymore. I agree.Not that it's a bad think but I do get amused when I hear someone talking about a low pull.I saw some guy almost shit himself after watching Scotty once.The dude says,"That guy almost had a Cypress fire".I said,"No he didn't".He says,"yes he did". I say,"No he didn't cause he doesn't have one".

What kills me is how often do you think refunding money comes into play?I bet not on a regular basis and surely not enough to make a difference in the bottom line of a DZ.Not enough of a difference to have someone bad mouthing you to their friends and on the internet.

I agree with the pay by the jump when traveling.I had a DZ in the north east try that no refund shit with me once.I paid cash when I got there and ended up shooting 4-way vid because there were no RW folks there.They tried to keep $80 when it was time for me to leave.Thats just a crock of shit.Putting aside any transaction fees,money should be refunded before the customer has to cause a scene.

My experience and opinion is this.Manifesters that get ragged on,most of the time,bring it on themselves.I have never been to a DZ where when the customers (jumpers) were treated well, that treatment was not returned.To word that better you reap what you sow.If you treat me like it's my pleasure to have you serve me then I might not be the fun loving easy going guy I usually am. Manifests job should be to manifest not police the jumpers.Only at the smallest of small DZs do I think manifest should be involved with the jumpers in that way.There is too much going on for them to be responsable for all of that. Again I say to everyone.If your not happy with your job in skydiving go find another one.Everyone will be happier.This goes for the manifester to the packers to the guy that vacuums the floor(DZO),your not doing anyone any favors by staying where you are not happy.I shot video for 4 yrs and grew tired of the DZ politics so I don't do it anymore.Simple as that.
