Grandparents and BASE Coco

That would be good if I actually skydived much anymore. If I'm moving, its to Switzerland or Norway for BASE. And I need to be a PA first so I can find work. It wasnt really weird living w/my parents @ 22,but I know our relationship got alot better/closer once I moved out. *** Nah, my rents are pretty chill, I have one side of the house to myself so I have my privacy and they don't mind that I BASE either so we have no issues. Coco

I live with my rents. And Since medical school is gonna cost 55K I'm gonna stay here till I finish. Saves me a shit load! And I'm only 22 so its not wierd yet. Coco

Aight I think what I'll do is the bank statement deal. Change it online, have one sent to my buddies place and then change it back. Sounds like it is the easiest. And if that doesn't suit them I've now got a few other ideas. Thanks everyone for the help! Coco

Actually, at the community college I attended, There were a number of teachers who no longer taught lecture classes. They had 6 different online classes, most of which were each different curriculums. Just because classes are online, does not put teachers out of work. Lesson plans, tests and grading still have to be done. Lots of tests can be done though multiple choice but research papers and such can not grade themselves. Coco

Well Polygraphs are easy to pass. All you have to do is breath normally and control your heart rate. That’s all they read. Changes in vital signs and perception from the tester about the person being tested. That is why they aren't admissible in court. I've already been all the way though 2 cities application process. It won't hurt me. BASE busts are a bigger concern. Plus I'm looking at going to medical school to become a PA anyway so that why I really need to finish my bachelors ASAP. Coco

I’m trying to finish my Bachelors degree at a local University. I have a crazy schedule and I do not have time to attend class. The University offers online classes but after registering I found out they have a BS policy that you have to live 50+ miles away in order to be allowed to take the Online Program. I live 26 miles away. I went to the local community college and took every class online for my AS degree and I live 5 minutes away. I totally don’t understand this policy and the registration people I talk to just say, “that’s the policy and it won't be changed for one person.” WTF!!!! I spoke to the Online Coordinator to put in a change of address (using a friend’s address who lives 70 miles away but still In-State) but she needs proof. (Either DL change, a bill, or copy of the lease) I told her I am just living with my buddy and I’m not on the lease and have not yet changed my DL. I left off saying I’d work on getting the proof. Anyone got any ideas? Coco P.S. Online classes cost the same as if I were going to class. I’m not saving money so I in no way would be cheating the university out of money by lying about my address to take online classes.

What is the height to the LZ of the Waterfall exit? Coco

You were packing near me bro...you know that wasn't possible. You could smell it down the hall. Coco Edit to add: At least Rich could!
-
Nah, not sticky and I've jumped it since it got muddy. Its just kinda funky smelling. Coco

So I got some mud and possibly a little cow shit on my small hole white mesh 36 inch pc when I was out in Lauterbrunnen. What is the best way to clean it? Obviously hand wash, but what to use for a cleaner? Coco
-
You don't read either. I'll still have my other car. Coco
-
You need to learn how to read! Coco
-
Already got one. S2000 is a male’s car. A Mazda Miata is the chick car bro! Why is a GSXR600 a bad choice for a first bike? I know a few people who ride it conservatively and its working fine for a first bike. Going to Norway and KL tower next year. And I just got back from Lauterbrunnen. That’s why I can’t have both. Yes I do.

Mine know I BASE. Coco
-
So what should I buy? Option 1: Sell my current car (non-sports car) and buy a Honda s2000. or Option 2: Keep my car and buy a Suzuki GSXR 600 Coco

DP w/ a 220 and a DP w/ a 240 both carry on from Norfolk to Atlanta and then to Zurich, Switzerland. Not one problem. And I even forgot to take the hook knives off and put them in my suit case and they didn't even see them. Also took a small bag w/ still camera and camcorder and my laptop in my other stash bag. Checked the rest of my gear too and it made it. Just show up extra early and your stuff will make it there. My buddies had their gear lost (but found) coming back from TF but it was because they had a cancellation and a delay and a change and some crap so things got jacked up. Coco

Yea bro, I had an awesome time jumping with ya'll too. MAX TRACK!!!! Oh hell yes! I'll be ready next summer! Coco

So I just recently returned home from an amazing 7 days of jumping in Lauterbrunnen. While I was there, I realized something that I think most of us here is the US take for granted. I found it quite amazing how many people speak English over seas and how willing they are to speak a language not of their own origin. I met BASE jumpers from 4 different non-English speaking countries on my trip and all spoke English. Some better than others but the fact that they were willing to speak English to help me out, show me exit points and just shoot the shit back at the hotel was something I found very kind and considerate. I don’t know the percentage but I’d say a huge portion of the US population speaks only English. I think we should recognize how helpful it is that jumpers and citizens of counties abroad are willing to learn and speak our language when it can be very difficult for them to find individuals who speak their language when they come to the US. It is my goal to be moderately familiar with a few different languages in the future. I already have taken 4 years of Spanish but I have to admit I’m a bit rusty. Coco

Any thing we know of that is legal over there? Coco

What do they have to jump? Coco

Don't exclude Denver. LIttle bit longer of a drive, I think 5 hours but my plane tickets were $205. (Oribtz) from Norfolk. Saved about 300 bucks vs. SLC. Coco
