Unfortunately, enlarging non-vector graphics means that the pixels that make up the picture get 'enlarged'-not exactly, but one pixel turns into 4 or 9 or 16... pixels with the exact same attributes (as if you looked at the pic with a magnifying glass). So if you have a picture that's, say, 60x40 pixels there's no way you can make it big enough to fit on your desktop and look good. Hope this makes you a bit more comp literate. Sorry that I can't help more.

3:14:3 3 different planes 14 jumps 1st time I did 9 jumps in one day (and they were dirt cheap, too) 1st time I jumped from 16500. Also, first time I experienced a hypoxic high. Definitely not the safest of jumps.

Well, I hope me and Jack can patch things up as well. He can be a great guy to hang out with. Nevertheless, I don't think I'll ever trust him completely after that fight with gravity he got me into last night.

As if I don't know... If a girl ever asks about this new gash above my eye, I was telling three huge nazi-types to pick on someone their own size. Or maybe saving a kitten from a tree or something...

...as I painfully found out last night. I even have the scars to prove it. Don't say you haven't been warned.

Niiiiice! My Voodoo comes in about a month. imo, this is the coolest-looking rig on the market right now.

Nietzsche has some interesting thoughts on the subject, but sometimes you have to dig them from under his recurring personal ramblings. As for fiction, I'd warmly recommend Brothers Karamazov by Dolstoievsky. You could just read the Grand Inquisitor (a story within the story), but the rest is a great read as well.

Why, yes. Yes, we are!

Juan- I'm sorry, but I don't know the exact circumstances of this incident. I just posted a link that was (I think) originally posted in this thread. I found the frame-by-frame comments here, but they're in French, my knowledge of which is practically nill. The following translation is from Google with a couple of obvious mistakes corrected;

This is probably the video you're looking for...

Well, my real b-day is on December 31st, so it's kinda hard to forget with all the partying going on. But I have been under a lot of stress lately. Really. Also, it won't happen again.

Man! I just realized I missed mine. Yesterday, one year ago, I found myself under a parachute for the very first time with no recollection at all of what happenned after I got to the door. Tomorrow I'll be making my 130th jump.

-solid riser covers -good bridle protection -comfortable harness (articulated and with a cut-in back strap) -low profile reserve handle -stainless steel -really smooth design -tie-dyed black&white -short delivery time To sum it up... RI says my Voodoo will be finished in 3-4 weeks.
-
You can get a fully articulated Voodoo at no extra charge...with G4, it's 300$. On the other hand the Smart 150 might not fit into a Voodoo sized for a Cobalt 135 - check the container sizes on RI webpage and the pack volumes of the canopies you want. Other than that, I think you'll be very satisfied no matter which of the two you get.

For some reason, the sight/sound of Britney makes my stomach turn. Really, don't know why, it just does. As for Christina, I agree that she was a kinky little biotch a couple of months ago, but now she's just an average looking girl (see attachment) who might have a good voice, but uses it for songs I couldn't care less about.

Thanks for sharing...

Amateur... I've recently had a friend call me a big fat liar when I told him that during my month-long backpacking trip across Spain, I never even felt the need.

I think that's a very well-made ad, actually. We could have a long debate about the message, but the way in which it is conveyed is very good. And playing the devil's attorney; wasn't there a lot of similar advertising going on in America a few months ago? Only the designs were generally worse and the subject was France...

Can't jump after a hard night of partying? But that's what skydiving's all about! Get drunk Friday evening and just pretend it's the second day of a big boogie or something when you wake up next day. There's no better cure for a hangover than freefall, you know.

Bwaaaahaha!!! should have seen that coming...

Reminds me of the time I was borrowing a friend's rig for the day. Before the exit on the first hop&pop, I thought to myself "Hmm, I wonder how you turn the cypres on?". Wasn't that big of a deal to me, since the rig I usually jump is without AAD anyway.

Worst shot My drunken attempt at a Bloody Mary...or something; some vodka, an equal amount of ketchup, some tabasco, ground peppers and garlic powder. Worst drink I ever (accidentally) had Ordinary beer...with a couple of cigarette butts floating in it for flavoring. But the worst hangover came from ordinary whisky. I think it was Canadian Old. I drank far less than my 'ordinary' amount, but it was on an empty stomach and after a long tiring drive through Italy. I spent the next morning puking nonchalantly in a plastic bag in my car while the friend I was with drove like a madman (or an Italian, if you will) through the streets of Rome. We both thought it was funny as hell.

Rigs&Things website says shipping starts end of june...but that's all. I ordered one, but I also ordered a container which won't be ready for another 5 weeks, so I should get the Neptune in august sometime. In case they're not shipping them by then, I'll change my order to a Protrack.

Sick. But still better than doing such things to live people, I guess.
