    I tried clearing mine once! It didn't help. it's strange, everything was (my mind) in slow motion. All of a sudden my hands were on my handles and I was praying my training had sunk in!     In sales there a phrase "the 3 p's Product,Price,Placement." Product = Skydiving Price = Half my income Placement = anywhere people will watch! Sometimes you have to take the show to the people. All a demo does is give (hopefully) a good veiw of our sport. Sometimes we even get good press! If 1 person watching says "you know, next weekend let's go try that" Then the demo has done it's job. most demos that I've seen only cover there direct exspenses.     We have been following this story for a few days now. I'm glad it went national! This girl is truly an Angel just like her name. The other day the head doctor said that she's earned favorite patient status at the hospital. He was saying that there is somthing very special about this girl

    I agree! Do not be under the influance on my load! Once the beer light is on I have no problem w/ what you do, but please dont be high,drunk, or hung-over when jumping! To much is at stake!     After you work in the ER you will always were it! One day we had a patient from a T-bone car crash, she had hers on and walk out of the ER under her own power, the next day we had a patient in another crash, same type but no seat belt, SHE DIED!     If you dont feel safe then stay the f**k away, i dont care! Sorry. I'm in a bad mood this A.M. GWB is in town. It took me 45 min. to get home last night & 30 min. to get to work this AM. I live 5 min. from my office, this traffic SUCKS. OK, venting over, I feel better now. If your paper work is in order you wont have any problems. Its really no different than when we go anywhere.     I agree w/ you on spotting. In this case we had exited @ 14000 agl w/ the door facing west. The other plane was @ 1500 agl coming from the east. I never saw him until I was open. It would have been very difficult to have seen him on jump run,even if he had been approching from the west. In this case it was 100% pilot error, but, if I would have had a malfuntion it would have put both of us in the same place at hte same time!     Our pilot & another pilot in the area had words over the radio, Our DZO drove over & spoke w/ him. Aparently he was very apologetic & had brainlocked as to which airport the call was from ---------------------------------------------- "Thats not smoke, thats BUCKEYE!!" AQR#3,CWR#49

    Sat. A.M. I was in the 3rd goup out, followed by tandums. In the saddle @ 2800, check traffic @ my alt. & above, collaps my slider, unstoe my breaks, make a 180 towards the DZ. HOLY SHIT! Half way though the turn I see a plane about 1000ft below flying though canopy traffic! He flew 200ft north of the 1st person out @ the same alt. John was flipping the pilot off & made eye contact! We were flying west to the landing area, the plane came out of the east. I was the only person who saw the plane until it passed the other jumpers.
