I got my protrac from square 1 and the first set of batteries only lasted 3 months. So will square one give me new batteries? just wondering Lisa. Don

In reply to chop Jean does normally operate just small cessnas but after the 10th of feb. sky dive saltlakes caravan will be in jean for pretty much the rest of the month. this will be due to the olympics grounding all general aviation flights in utah for feb. so enjoy our misfortune.

Yes skydive salt lake will be in mesquite NV. feb. 8,9,10 then thier plane will be going to Jean NV for pretty much the rest of the month.

here is more information for some of you about the cypress fire on the plane. to answer one question yes you can shut off a cypress. also the plane was not dropping all that fast. the cypress in question was a student cypress ( wich activates much higher than an expert model and also at 29mph instead of the 70 some odd of the expert.) The user guid clearly states in big bold letters to shut off a student cypress if decending in the plane. Also this was not a student so no there was not a jump master there to baby sit him. not only that but the dropzone was several hundred feet lower than the air port and the unit had not been adjusted to that difference. ( see page 21 of the user guide) any way from some of your posts I would say that there are a lot of jumpers out there that have not read the manuel.

We had a cypress fire this weekend. But its not what you are thinking. He was riding the plane down and did not turn off the cypress. Luckily he was sitting in the copilot seat so the pilotchute could not go anywhere. just remember if you have an aad and you don't get out at altitude turn that thing off. Don

I think you are avoiding me. hahaha. along those lines, sky dive salt lake is taking thier caravan to mesquite on Feb. 8,9,10. But since I'll be on duty for the olympics I will not be there, so I guess you will. Don

I don't know about coolidge but I will be in marana the 29, 30 31 then in eloy for the 1. where is coolidge and what do they fly there? I just need to get in the air. I have not jumped in two weeks and it is driving me nuts. Don

I did my basic training in oklahoma and I felt lucky to get out alive then.

funny on this one I have to agrea with clay. especialy after living outside the U.S. for a couple of years I have to say the U.S. is the greatest country in the world. So hey camera monkey I would be willing to help you pay for those one way tickets.
