Whilst sitting in the office this afternoon, actually working, cuz I didnt do a damn thing last week. My phone rings, its one of them schmancy office phones that tells me what dept its for, the number, etc.. Its tells me its for the the person who used to have this extension. Odd, I think, that only happens when my line gets directly dialed, and that hardly ever happens. Turns out its the Dr. office. Theyre calling to let me know that they think I should go see an Orthopedist. Dumb founded at first, I realize that they failed to call me on MONDAY like the monkey-suckers were SUPPOSED to. Seems as though there just might be a break, and some tissue damage from my little fall on Friday. De-ja-vu? yes, just the same scenario that put me down for 3 months 2 years ago. fuckitty-fuck-fuck. OMFG! Just returned from the boogie. I had been there since thursday night. Last I heard there was over 300 registered! Thursday night was a great party, Friday was rocking all day, then that party with Rodrigues bros iniations, Saturday the skyvan and otter flew all day back and the king air took up the slack. For dinner we had most excellent Carbone zone pork tenderloin, then the Costume contest. And of couse folks went all out as usual. Then the party began. keg upon keg of Heineken and Miller Lite. Lasers, smoke, lights and awsome music. The women on the rope, stilt walking jugglers, and an Ent, yes, an Ent like from Lord of the Rings. It was simply amazing, then the 'B I G" suprise. and at midnight the carnival ride, the spider, fired up and we all rode for free until the weee hours of the morning. thanks to Trey,and tim, and all those who put this boogie together, and everyone that attended. 365 days and counting.... If you missed this boogie, You missed the best party this year, and some wonderful times. Blue Skies to all those friends new, old, and future.
